Im TH9 and started level 5 lightning spell in lab yesterday. I used to use it till TH7 to take out one air defence in wars but since th8, it was useless. Now considering the current trends, it seems worthy to zap dark elixir. I see a ton of TH10s with over 3k dark elixir. Boosted spell factory would mean 4 spells ready in just half an hour. Plus i can drop trophies while doing this as well and barch inactives in low leagues. :cool:

Too bad we can't see that max gowipe, gowiwi, or lavaloon being boosted waiting for us to log off. Never zapped as a TH9. True story. ✌ lol.

I myself never zapped, nor as th7 neither th8 or th9. I always felt its unworthy to spend 60,000 elixir for just about 800 de. But current matchmaking scenario is supportive of this tactic plus most of my elixir jobs are completed.Quote:

Zap away if that's what works for you. There's nothing wrong with it. I cooked up a bunch of lightning spells for this purpose but ended up not using them and used the last one to try to set some trees on fire on a goblin map. It's just not my style and I have full DE storages anyways.
