Different way to use the Air Sweeper!

Not sure if there is a thread on this at the moment, but.....
As it is at the moment, the air sweeper doesn't seem to be all that effective.

What if there was a different mode like there is with the inferno tower and x-bows?

The air sweeper could shoot air in all directions but have a smaller radius?

Or (what i'd like to see, personally) it could create a whirlwind effect in an even smaller radius and force troops to target different structures?
You could put it next to air defences, inferno towers or x-bows and throw off a lot of loon raids. Of course, the fire rate would be minimal, giving time for the attacker to take out the defences, but this would force attackers to use lava hounds more effectively instead of spamming them in before the loons, you would have to get your timing right.

Another idea could be that it stuns certain troops, like how the mortar will knock back barbs and archers.

Just adds a bit more variety to, what is at them moment, a very ineffective defence.

I do expect more from a defence that has little to no effect on raids.

It's meant to underpower balloonian. Meaning that if u made it so it pushed minions and balloons into air defence and air bombs, it would eliminate them, plus it moved the healers away from the units, preventing some healing. Praise what is there, don't look for more out of personal want.

It doesn't under power balloonian though, hence why I made the suggestion.

And please don't assume I'm demanding change for 'personal want', people could say the exact same thing of the thread that you are pushing in your signature.

I believe that if the air sweeper isn't to be removed, then I would want it to remain the same.

air sweepers would have little to no effect in air raids if not used properly. a well placed air sweeper that defends air defenses/other buildings can defeat a mass air raid. that's my opinion.

I haven't encountered it enough yet, but the fact that there's only 1 seems like it makes it relatively easy to avoid by attacking from the opposite direction. Having a second one would be a gamechanger though.

Also, at first I really thought it was going to act more like an oscillating fan.

Will this end up being one of those threads someone necro's up when people finally have upgraded air sweepers wreaking havoc on properly designed bases?

Remember all those threads about how ♥♥♥♥ the lava hounds were when they first came out?

What about the option to switch the ability to sucking instead of blowing (no sexual innuendo intended)? This will provide more strategic option, like sucking air units into an area full of anti air defenses, or suck them away from those. Sucking is more controlled than blowing
