Would I cope as TH 10?

Hey Clashers, I want your opinions on If I should go to Th 10 and if I would cope as th 10. I've read many people say TH 10 is terrible and that TH 9's should stay as Th 9. I'm currently farming Lavas but became really bored of them and I think now is my time to move up but I'm not 100% sure If I should.

I know the choice is up to me, but I want your opinions on it.

I currentlay have maxed defences except teslas (Level 5 & 6) and 157 Lavas, 93 to go. The troops that I use the most are maxed such as Barch, GoWiWi and Loons. Here are a few pictures of my base and troop info.

I would go... I am maxed TH9 with without lavas and I just started my upgrade.

With walls and heroes weighing a bit heavier in clan war matchmaking after this past patch I decided to change my plans of maxing walls/heroes and head to TH10 a bit earlier than anticipated.

Don't go until your teslas are done, and while you're waiting continue on doing lavas and heroes.

There is SO MUCH to do at TH10 that it'd be months before you even start thinking about teslas, so get em down now.

He can do them during the 14 days of his TH10 upgrade. I say start the upgrade now.

Up to you, but in no way is th10 loot bad.

The answer as always is, its up to you. If it was me I'd get your heroes up a little more. Mine are at 25 & 29 and I'm just now moving up to 9.5 to start. Your lavas are better though, I'm at 120.

I was thinking about getting my heroes up, but if you think about it, If I go to th 10 now, I can have infernos, maxed xbows etc... A lot faster then if I where to get my heroes up more.

you'd cope but i'd upgrade my mines, teslas and spells + pekka first.

actually I would upgrade all buildings and troops first (mby not king n queen). but you would manage. Doing tesla's first is a great idea tho.

No lava hounds unlocked yet? I'd recommend at least getting them unlocked. If you use loons it should be a given to have the hounds. Ideally they'd be at L2, but at this point just unlocking them should suffice.

Otherwise I think you'd be fine. Ideally teslas should be maxed, but as others have said, it's up to you. If you're bored now, I think it's time to move up.

You'd manage fine. If you don't believe me, ask Ash the next time he hops over to the clan you're in?

Define your goals in game and that should help inform your decision.

The perfect balance to max all at same time doesn't exist. But...

Assumptions:

• too much dark elixir at TH10 (after the first month)
• both heros permanently down (after the first month)
• no gems
• 5th builder left 60% free for walls (you lock up your 5th builder when you get another one free within a day or less) Heros alone allow you to engage the builder for 1 day per week each (28% busy, so I don't think 40% busy is too high an estimate)
• you come in to TH10 with everything nonhero maxed (no carryover builder time, the more you plan to carry over (above 0), the extra sooner you should go)

Facts:

• TH10 has about 705.6 builder days (outside heros)
• Heros from 0 to 40 take 227.5 days

Math/Argument:

• You will have 4.4 builders on TH10 projects in the first 34 days (lab + archer + one of barb/giant).
• This achieves 149.6 days of builder work.
• Leaving 556 days.
• You will have 2.4 builders on TH10 projects for the rest of your time at TH10 due to heros on lockdown using up 2 of them.
• This means TH10 work will finish after an additional ~231.7 days.
• This is more than the time for a hero all the way from 0 to 40.

Conclusion:

• With 4.4 effective builders and more dark elixir than you can use at TH10, heros will max before TH10 buildings regardless of their level when you go to TH10.
• It's pretty much impossible not to waste dark elixir at TH10 for sufficiently active players. Don't use low level heros as a reason to be less efficient at TH9

PS- I'm somewhat surprised that you have low level mines/collectors/pumps. I'd also unlock and level the Lava Hound. (this is a general comment, regardless of when you decide to move up)
