Lightning spells vs dark elixir storage

As we all know dropping lightning spells on a dark elixir storage is a easy way of getting some dark elixir. But when it comes to a stage where someone can take of 1k dark from your base like this its gone too far. If someone has the skill to get to my dark and take it fair enough they earned it, but someone using lightning spells to take it is not skillful in any way and he/she doesn't deserve so much of it. Continuously people have got five hundred and I can live with that but taking over a 1k is too far in my opinion.
I'm losing dark elixir as the bases I find simply don't have enough to replace the amount I lost. Easy way to fix this is add more hit points onto the storage or you could have it that only large amounts of it come out of it after 25% damage is already delth to it.
