Barbarian King and Archer Queen customisation
Barbarian King and Archer Queen customisation
This feature would include a new building aswell as the customisation option for the Barbarian King and the Archer Queen.
The new building would be the blacksmith.
The basic idea is that whenever you defeat abarb king or arch queen, there is a chance (of maybe 25%) that they will drop apiece of armour/weaponry, and if you have enough parts, you can create aweapon/piece of armour in the blacksmith that would change the stats and theappearance of the hero.
For example: You have three types for everyweapon/armour:
For armour:
-Light: doesn’t add hitpoints but increases movement speed
-Medium: increases the hitpoints by a smallamount and doesn’t affect movementspeed
-Heavy: increases the amount of hitpoints by alarge amount and decreases movement speed
You also have different types of armour, forexample a helmet, breastplate, plate skirt, boots, these will also affect theappearance of the barbarian king giving each player a more unique feeling
For weapons (barbarian king):
-Light: increases damage per second by a smallamount, and increases attack speed
-Medium: increases damage per second by a decentamount, and doesn’t affect attack speed
-Heavy: increases the damage per second by alarge amount, and decreases attack speed
Here you could have for example a shortsword, atwo-handed greatsword, or an axe, or a warhammer, which would change theappearance of the king
For weapons (archer queen)
-Fire Arrows: deal damage over time
-Explosive Arrows: deal splash damage tobuildings directly next to the target building (so if the target building isthe only building within a wall, no other buildings will be hit, but if thereare for example two defensive buildings in set of walls, then the second willbe affected by a small amount as well
-Heavy-tipped Arrows: deal more damage (not sureabout the name)
These would not change the appearance of thearcher queen, but the fire arrow would set the buildings on fire for a shorttime (but they can still shoot)
The heavier the piece, the more parts you willneed.
So for a piece of light armour, you’ll need 10 parts, for a piece of mediumarmour, you’ll need 25 parts, andfor heavy 40 parts (subject to change)
The same would apply to weapon parts.
Defeating an Archer Queen will have a chance ofdropping a piece needed to make an arrow (for example oil-soaked arrows,gunpowder-arrows or heavy-tipped arrows) And you’d need to make a large amount, because attacking with these arrowswould decrease the amount of arrows she has. For example when you tap on thearcher queen when attacking, you can switch between her ability (which woulduse normal arrows) or any of the other three arrows, which would have a numberbehind them.
The larger the difference between the heroes, the higher the chance of them dropping something
For example, if you have a level 5 barbarianking and you attack someone with a level 15 barbarian king, the chance of theenemy king dropping a part would increase by 10% (1% per level difference) samewould go for the archer queen.
In the beginning the pieces would drop normally, and the defending player will lose no parts, but in time, when there are enoughparts in the game, the defending player will also lose parts, so as to make itmore fair.
Now for the Blacksmith:
This building will be available from town halllevel 8 and would cost 750 000 gold and elixir (subject to change)
From the beginning on, players will be able tocraft all three types of armour/weaponry, but upgrading the blacksmith wouldincrease the chance of getting parts by small amount (5% per level) (and laterin the game, when you can lose parts, the chance of losing parts would decreaseby 5% per level. This might sound useless, because if the attacker and defenderboth have a level 3 blacksmith, they cancel each other out, but this isactually an incentive for players to upgrade it as soon as possible, as theywill not unlock new items with every upgrade, which would not make it veryattractive for upgrading, but this will.) If this is too much work, then thepercentage system can be left out.(but not the blacksmith)
When crafting an item, you will also have to paysomething to craft it (for a light weapon you would have to pay elixir, for amedium weapon you’d have to pay gold, and for a heavy weapon you’dhave to pay dark elixir)
This is a lot of information, but we’d appreciate any feedback :)
