I think supercell needs to change thing in valks to make people interested in using them(not HP or DPS) maybe cost, build time or being affected by spring traps. If they change those me and many others will be interested to start putting them into troop compositions frequently

Even if they weren't effected by spring traps I probably still wouldn't use them.
Valks run forward of tankier troops and get taken down too quickly, even with a decent amount of hp. They also seem to hesitate before they swing, and constantly try to reposition themselves to hit more buildings. This takes too much time when they could be putting out DPS. Plus they take up 8 spots. No thanks.
I'll stick with wizards. They hit from range, cost less, do a ton of damage, and you can reliably predict how best to keep them behind tanky troops.
I use some at TH9, in 2 places: hitting an inferno base where it looks fairly obvious all 4 teslas are clustered with the infernos. Running level 3 pekkas at a group of 4 level 7+ teslas doesn't seem to work too well in my experience
And secondly if hitting a TH9 with airdef a bit centralised, and gutting core before looning the rest... Usually I would gowiwi the centre, but if I have to attack across a lot of 2*2 gaps I'm worried about losing all my witches to bombs, so would like some heavy troops. Pekkas won't do well vs possible teslas, and especially if it's unlurable, pekkas are a waste of time against the cc troops. Whereas valks will survive a giant bomb hit under a heal spell, and are OK against the enemy CC and teslas.
Seems the place to ask. In war I'm going up against a TH10, new, but level 3 multi infernos (both of them), and the defenses and buildings are clustered. Would using 2 Golems, 2 Pekkas, 9 Valks and 8 wizards be good. I'm thinking with the high HP between the Golems, pekkas, and Valks the infernos will be negated. What do you think?
My Golem lvl 4 research is done tomorrow and with all my war troops and spells will be max TH9. Valks to lvl 4 will be my project - from what I have seen (never done it myself), valks can be pretty good vs the correct base. But isn't that true for all troops except golems and wizards? Those two worm their way into every attack.
But I think Supercell should fix the cost of valkyrie. Lvl 1 valkyrie are priced reasonably but with upgrade, their cost increases ridiculously, while their stats recieve an average boost. No other troop sees its cost become nearly 2.5 times its original except those that you get in the beginning itself :thumbsdown:
I know they are very powerul, but I dont have that amount of DE to use them. It would cost me too many DE to use them together with Golems and witches.
But yes they ARE powerful.
In war:
Gowixx are common army that can take any base, not the case with valks.
Valks need specific bases and planning (IMO) cant just spam like giwipe.
More inconvenient, Have to reserve the base inform all ... too much work.
Not too worried on training time, since spells take 3-4 hrs
I tried a couple of times, few went very well, and few were... meh
They sure are handy on second attacks to kill cc troops. very efficient than 223. But is it worth to upgrade ? perhaps not.
For farming, i think they are almost useless, unless you want some fun or practice.
Costs too much on de, which the most valuable resource for th9 and th10.
Redheads are awesome. Blonds are common.
Valks should be a good troop to use against multi infernos right?
