What are the best troops for war clan castles

My clan uses witches, wizards and archers. Works well for us.

3 wizards and bunch of archers.

If your base is an easy 3-star for a GoWiPe you might consider using archers, since PEKKAs hit slow, which will make them waste valuable time on your troops.

Dragons, though, are always a great choice because of their large hitpoints and splash damage. It's basically a flying wizard that will not be one-shot.

i agree a little when i was farming defenses off of barch armies i always used loons to splash troops. worked fairly decent when i got hit with heros. now i use 3 loons and 5 wizards to stop troops. seems pretty versatile.
