Or use a farming base. With a decent base, regardless of league you should be getting sniped nearly 100% of the time.
EDIT: Just saw your post, above, although tbh it takes a negligible amount of time to tap the screen every now and then. Furthermore, regardless of how active you are you can and will benefit from a farming base. I'm a TH 9, btw.
The big advantage is that when you have a solid farming base people will simply go for the TH, either for cups or a free loot bonus. This means you lose 1000 gold/elix and a handful of cups, neither of which are very important or hard to make up.
There is always loot in masters plus a gigantic loot bonus i get like 300k with loonionQuote:

I always like to save 1 resource only at a time. If you are saving elixir, configure singularity and dump gold into walls in the mean while. Low loot = best defense in game. Trying to save all resources will result in murder, regardless of defense lvls. Only th10s with infernos sort of have that luxury.
idk how many times people need to be told this...
1) Even if you get raided for max available loot... it's really not that much considering how available loot is after this update. Do 1, maybe 2 raids, and you would have it all back. And being raided for all your loot isn't even that common.
2) Want to be raided even less? Put your town hall out, this is something everyone stresses that you should do. Yea you'll get the occasional person who will still raid you... but most of the time you'll be safe.

As a th9 you can't be losing more than you gain if you farm even a little before logging off. The most you can lose is 420ish from storages and that's if you have max storages filled and there's no loot penalty involved. If your collectors are max it makes it even harder to lose resourses.
Guys gold 3 is good now...I can find a loot and they attack me rarely.
Only snipes with all loots at cap.
I find 600k + raids in bronze 1. Sad part is I go offline for 10 minutes and I go up 200+ trophies.
You don't have xbows, which is a magnet for attackers. Plus you look like a new TH9 (maybe you are), and unfortunately, you will be attacked until you get stronger. Same thing happened to me when I came to TH9 in January.
I have the opposite problem. I am not getting a shield for 4-6 hours, which makes me anxious about my exposed DE drills. I can sit with max gold in storage without many problems. The most gold I lose is because of re-arming traps after failed heroics :facepalm:
