How much advantage in war does using an ipad/tablet give you vs a phone?

At th8 i had no problems with my phone in wars since attacks were much simpler. Now though at th9 with these more advanced attacks (holowiwi, cb laloon, surgical hogs) I find the most common reason an attack of mine fails is because of me fighting the screen--having to zoom and pan around--which causes timing issues or the attack to run out of time.

With a tablet do you not have to zoom and pan at all when you attack? Does it made a huge difference? Ive got my eye on the ipad air 2 but i might try and save some cash and get a android tablet.

As a th9, i find it much simpler when i war on my ipad, rather than my iphone 4s. Mostly with gowiwi or gowipe. I often have troops wander off screen, thinking they're dead only to find out later that they were still alive and needed attention in that area of the map.

For me it's huge. I can't raid at all on my phone any more, just my iPad.

Pretty big advantage as far as deploying with 2 hands, seeing more at once etc.

Huge difference, I hate warring with my phone now that I have coc on my tablet. But it sucks because my main account is on my phone. =[

Agreed, big difference. I only do CW attacks on my tablet

Certainly helps with the fat finger syndrome.

Once u get a tablet you will never war on your phone again unless absolutely necessary

I play only on my iphone 5. Trrops wander away but I'm used to it. Just pay attention to every aspect of what your seeing. I don't have a tablet bc I'm cant afford one. If u can y not?

I often deploy wrong troops with iphone.

The bigger the screen is, the better your attack can be!
But, for long-time sessions of CoC you will find that the best is a 8 inch screen device/a phone.
The 8 inch screen device is the best and balanced between your needs (playing for long periods of time comfortably and doing good in attacks)
I use iPad mini which is 7.9 :D.
I have also tried Clashing on iPad 4 but it's ******* heavy. (Clashing on iPad Air is amazing)
But I do wonder who clashing would be on Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab® Pro 12.2. It's gonna be AMAZING.

I use Samsung s3 for my phone and it works great. Quick response and I'm able to see most of my attacks as I send em out. I do have a little bit of trouble with the timing on the snipes as the 1/2 sec to change screen size puts me behind. I helped out my son in his game on a note4 I think and it was amazing. also note I'm late th8 just finishing up my walls now before moving on. So my attacks are basic gowipes all kinds of hogs and lastly drags/loon attacks.

If I end up having to do a war attack on my phone it's usually one star less.

I can still deploy troops with 2 hands on my 5s since I'm more used to it. iPads are kinda too big for me

That's how much different it is.

I started clash on S3. Not long after that, I installed CoC on my iPad, it felt like I had so much freedom and versatility on the bigger screen. When I tried to play CoC back on my S3, I just felt limited with it's smaller screen.

I doing raids on my phone, while in wars i need to see the whole base, so i am doing wars on my computer via software, that isnt allowed on this forum it seems i wonder why :confused:. U can easily drop a spell while u zooming in/out, so i always doing wars on my pc.

I dont have a tablet, i cant say anything about it. I am curious, if is tablet better than pc? :smirk:

I like to use barch, but for me barch only works on an ipad because of what you stated, you don't have to pan around and zoom while raiding. Also it allows you to use multiple fingers to deploy troops, which helps a lot.

I am using a convertible with a 13,3" 10 point touchscreen. It's awesome to send in troops with higher precision.
Second advantage is you can next with a small wireless mouse while watching tv etc.
Third Alt-Tab while nexting is move fun.

Started playing on a 5 inch smarthphone and moved to a 9 inch tablet. Still the convertible is best(using android emulation software).

iPad is so much better. Easier to do precision attacks

i'd like go to my tablet than my iphone

It took a little getting used to, but it's like a new game playing on an iPad. I would never attempt a war attack on my phone (TH9), and really can't stand looking at the game on it anymore. I use my phone to check in on chat and make quick donations, but that's it.

Note2 works well for me, tablets are a bit too big, but I could see how warring with one would be better.

I have no problems with my note 4 and didnt have any problems with the note 2 either.

This is an intriging option. I'll have to look into this one more. I think this would also make it easier to record my attacks as well.

Once I started playing on my ipad, I never touched my iphone. now I use the phone only to empty collectors and donate to clan when I am on the go.

I do not know how people attack on a phone. I only use my iPad mini, and I still mess up sometimes.
