Bring back old task variety - not enough high point tasks to choose from this week!

This week was crazy stressful to get high point task for a full NH!! The frequency and variety of high point tasks was very poor this week compared to before the update.
The derby is a day shorter, and some people waited until day 3 to grab a task! Bring back the tasks we had before. This is ruining the game!!!

Last time I timed it - it took 7 hours in between high point tasks. How is a full NH suppose to get enough tasks? And what happened to planting and animal task that are above 250 points?!

I agree. We can not get a task above 100 & if we do it is low 200 and not a task anyone wants.

going crazy

I'm the leader in our nh and I'm going crazy looking for decent tasks for everyone! I feel like i'm sitting on the derby board just waiting to trash all the tasks we are getting for 50 to 77 points! This is getting ridiculous! I know they are supposed to randomly fill...but I feel I'm being played an awful prank. Hope to get some decent 250 or above tasks soon. My nh is chomping at the bit! They are starting to think I'm trashing the good ones by accident!

It could be eased if a couple of the current crop/animal tasks' time limits were changed back to "until derby ends", and a couple of current crop (or animal) tasks were for 300+ points.

It may not be exact parity to a boat task, but a few lucky crop tasks sprinkled around might just give the trashers, players, and hoods a chance to get their breath back. And I thought Hay Day liked a bit of random disparity. :) :)

It is all about fun, and growing indigo for 313 in an umlimited timeframe was fun -- especially after boating and trucking all week. We all need some luck!

Where are the good tasks?

Since 12 hours we are waiting for high points tasks. In this time almost all tasks that came after many and many trashing tasks done, were below 150 points.
I see the other NHs from our Derby doing tasks with very high pints. I have no idea how aleatory is this task selection.
The most members form my NH are still waiting to take their first task.
This new tasks system is definitely a nightmare for every normal people who wants to play this game, have fun and also enjoy to win the Derby.
We have other things to do in life then to stay the entire day trashing the low points tasks.
Please bring back the old Derby.

Bring back high point tasks!

All day long my co leaders and i trash task after task only to get more and more low pt tasks!! This is extremely frustrating being that our neighborhood is a very competitive hood when it comes to the derby. Please please please fix this problem ASAP!

Yes, this is annoying. Once in a while task in the low 200s but most are below 100. The variety of task are slim too.

I'm the leader of my co-op, very discouraged regarding low pt tasks!

The minute the derby starts we have players counting down to pick a first task, Really 49 pt tasks is nuts! We are first place Derby Winners back to back. Now crop tickets are expiring because people take a task and head to work or school without noticing the time limit has changed. Ok we have six days now instead of seven and the tickets are horrible, so what's up with that? Please fix this as players are getting fed up with the derby!

Ok this is ridiculous HD! In the last 11 hours of the derby we did not get any 300+ point tasks!!!!! Trashing low constantly, this is unfair.

Other hoods have same problem. Not unfair, may be unwanted. need to change our thinking. Not original derby. Will not get 300 point tasks, so now how do we win. Still can be done

Not that im trying to state an obvious here (Drum Roll) but this isn't a bug :( its just how the derby is after the last update they did.

There's a multitude of threads in the ideas section of people saying higher tasks need to be brought back maybe you should piggy back off the back of that. There's a lot of people having genuine issues of not even being able to access the game and their reports are being clogged up with things that should be in other sections.

Also for me personally it took a good day of continuous trashing, we are a NH of 24 and everyone wants all the highest tasks and we managed it, just need to be patient and wait, they are there, so they are not there as 'Readily' as they were before, but they haven't been taken away..

First of all they were taken away! Crop, animal and town tasks above 300 points were taken away. Seems like your not paying attention. Those that were paying attention thought it was a bug.

And for the rest of you that were clearly not reading the main posts on the forums, in the correct place obviously didn't see the other threads about the derby and the new update they made on changing the points from old to new ones, and how people had been experiencing both.

There is no need for hostility (or shouty capitals) in a place where people are trying to help. Nor will it get you what you are asking for by ranting. I was merely trying to point out that if you want this implemented (like so many others) then it needs to be in another sub forum where it will be seen for what it is, that's what we are here for to advise you on the thread misgivings so you can ensure any problems, issues or concerns you have are addressed correctly in the correct place.

It is only a problem if you make it into one. It is not a problem or a bug but a new challenge. Our Nh seized the day and won very nicely, thank you very much. All NH in same boat, so plan how you are going to win in this boat!

Derby points

I haven't been reading these posts and I didn't know they changed giving high points for many tasks but I still find it anoying when I do 10 or 11boats, but cant find one that wants 20 village visitors

I want more high score tasks in the derby!!!!

I think we all do - but as others have posted, this adjustment may be to mollify those who complained that there were SO MANY high point tasks that they were done in an hour or so on day 1 of the Derby.

As it has been reconstituted, the mix of high and low point tasks requires more attention to the Derby, and therefore requires more frequent checking in at the game and more frequent play.

It also adds a rush of the win when a coveted rarer task pops up -- a common feature of Hay Day (mystery gift boxes, treasure chests, tool boxes etc).

So I am not sure we can get more high point tasks. This (like only being able to open 3 crates or Donkeys being adjusted from 100 xp per wake-up to 25) may be something we have to live with and adjust to.

What DOES need fixing (but which is also not a bug) is the bouncing Derby task board that is making people sick.

Trashing low tasks

All we get are low point tasks. Our members spent their unwelcome enforced break between the derby collecting fishing lures and mining tools ready for high point tasks to find nothing but 60 / 70 point tasks. No point in doing them. We will never get a horseshoe or get into the first 3. The first couple of Derby's we had about 15 of us doing tasks. Now our members are feeling disheartened and there are only 9 bothering. Think at this rate we won't even bother next time. Come on Supercell. Bring back the derby fun
