TH10 war strategies post-update

I've always been a fan of GoWiPe as a fairly reliable 2 star strategy but I've been a bit inconsistent lately so wanted to branch out.

With my typical bad luck I started trying air raids 2 weeks ago and had great results with pentalooning, however since the update that's gone down the pan - pups etc just ignore CC troops and heroes unless they're right on top of them so what would have been easy three stars are going nowhere now :(

I'd like to try something else out to break up the monotony of GoWiPe but what's good to look at these days? I've not really hogged since the big nerf so maybe some hybrid attacks with those? Also haven't really used my giants/healers since TH9.

Would love to keep trying the air raids out but I'd never had much luck with them previously.

Most troops are maxed except tier 1s which are lv6 if it helps.

Any tips/links/suggestions welcomed!

I was thinking about th10 (I'm a 9 but should go 10 in a few months). cB and shattered got much harder now so i was thinking valks might be the answer. How would a VaLaLoon work at 10 (I'm going to try at 9). Maybe use a golem or Giants to help funnel valks whos role will be to kill queen and CC? Or maybe queen and ADs??

Also what about 5 golems plus valks (one lightning for CC) or how well would GoVaLo, VaLoon, VaHoLo, VaHoWiWi, VaLoWiWi ect work at th10??
