I blame a certain piece of software that recently made it easier to automate the search for exposed TH.

• If you can do something with almost no effort, then you need almost no reward for a positive ROI.
• Automated searchers swarm and push the reward down to a minimal level.
• It's still barely worth it for them, and not worth it for the rest of us as we don't have the tools to assist in reducing the effort.
• Snipes appear to disappear from viability

That's my internal conspiracy theorist speaking. I don't know what it is, but about a week ago snipes seemed to disappear over the 2200 - 2900 range. (multiple TH, TH7/8 on low end, TH9 in middle, TH10 top end, no one finding many snipes)

OP, now that your DE is overflowing, what army comp do you use?

Also elixir to walls at TH9. While farming 225 skulls with league bonus, you also end up with 112.5 legos from the other half of the league bonus (more or less depending on how much nexting/armies you have to pay for)

9 dragons, 10 minions to check for traps then snipe with Lv 10 king. My DE is useless now.

As a th 9, I would agree with this. I have noticed a significant drop in snipes available in the 3100-3200 range.
I'm thinking of dropping down to farm walls instead, but will miss the de :(

BUT, I found something different for a TH9, which is the ultimate loot bonus farming. :P

Push to master 3 (2600 trophies) and then drop to above 2500 trophies. You can find a snipe every 3 minutes (sometimes it takes 5 minutes and sometimes it takes 20 seconds but on average it's 3 minutes), meaning you can get 2 million resources (of each) and 10,000 dark elixir in an hour. Much better than collector raids.
You can also find full drills sometimes, so my record is 100,000 dark elixir in a day (Yeah I played a lot that day hehe :>). My king and queen are currently upgrading (The queen will be done in 4 days and king in 6 days and I'm almost full again lol),
Tried to push to master 2 and then drop to above 2700 trophies, but then I could find a snipe every 5 minutes, resulting in 1.44 million resources (of each) and 6,000 dark elixir in an hour.

So for a TH9 - ABOVE 2500 TROPHIES WITH MASTERS 3 BADGE IS THE SWEET SPOT.

I'll push to champions league just for the 2000 gems, but then I'm going back to high crystal 1.

I hit Champs today and tried this exploit for a few different sessions. It doesn't work, unfortunately. As a TH9 you will mainly be presented with well-protected TH10.

Time to try the Masters III thing I guess.

Edit: I feel like I was late to the party with this thing, similar to the "Silver is overflowing with l00t!" phenomenon post-update.
