Made it to the crystal league yesterday. Now currently sitting on 2001 trophies.
The problem I'm now facing is that I'm low on resources and my builder huts will be free in two days. I don't want free builder huts, so I'll probably drop trophies for farming :3
Depends on how dedicated you are. If you are truly dedicated to trophy pushing, you can make it to Champions. I am a rushed TH8 now, but I made it to Champions as a TH7 around the update. The link here is a really good guide to TH sniping: http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...-%28TH5-TH6%29
As my last post indicates, I am not entirely sure the affect of the new matchmaking principles. But if you read my last post, it is still definitely doable, if not easier.
Sorry, just read your last post. TH snipe, once you get to Crystal 1/Master 3 the loot bonus will easily sustain all of your resource needs, especially as a TH7.
