TH8 Farming Base - Critiques Please

I am still a novice at the game and have always used others bases in order to defend my resources. However with the recent update adding a new defense there hasn't been time for the "master base builders to weigh in on base design. So I went ahead and built my own base and am looking for feedback on it. Pro's and Con's are appreciated. Here is a screenshot of the base.

I'd get rid of the WT funnels at the bottom.

What is the rational as to why? They seem to pull troops away from my core. What would be the reason in your opinion to take them out. Thanks for the reply!
