We experienced the same thing on at least two raids. Can provide additional proof to SC if requested.
I had this same problem but with my AQ in war last night. Looked like she was having a seizure for a good 10 seconds...sadly the stupid maintenance break erased the replay. But please fix whatever issue causes this or at least acknowledge that it's a thing.
Same as everyone else, been seeing this glitch for a long time. Three times at least in this last 20 man we just finished. Wizards on the absolute edge of the map have really bad problems. Just thought I'd add to the support of getting this fixed.
There have always been glitches of note, many of which have completely ruined what should be fully perfect strategies. In one war, an enemy valk froze and an entire group of dragons on one side of the map way outside of the seek range flew over to try and kill her, but many flame blasts missed. Dragon blasts too seem to decide occasionally to have a bigger pause than is documented; an extra second or so between blasts, which as you know could mean death or glory in war.
However, these glitches have now gone to the extreme, seemingly as a result of the new castle AI. The other day during a hog war attack, my cc full of hogs was dropped and all 6 froze on the spot for 3 whole seconds. In other attacks, the gap between deployed troops changed in successive strikes, deploying more slowly or fast even with the same set of troops. There were also instances where troops pathing had changed dramatically (hogs and dragons not going to the next logical target, worse than even old dumb dragons do), or others where the troop stalled and took half a second to decide on the next target to hit, changing its mind.
But worst of all, our beloved lavaloonion attack went from being a 3-star to a complete fail zero on much weaker bases - NOT because of the sweeper, which can be worked around tactically, but because of far more aggressive targeting by the defensive cc troops, to which our attacking troops completely ignore when set upon, or take several seconds to respond, even if being fired in the face!
I'm all for new buildings and welcomed the sweeper, but it seems the algorithm that has been altered for the cc troops has had a knock-on of hero targeting, troop response glitching on offence and defence, and completely unpredictable bias. It takes the strategy out of what is for all intents and purposes, a strategy game if broken AI means that a planned attack with former set values and timing goes to hell for completely unknown reasons. If timing had changed, we would get better and adapt; that's the nature of balancing. But right now we have no idea if our expensive war attacks are just gonna glitch out. It's put most of my clan off the idea of warring until something is resolved. :/
Changes are welcome. Busted AI is not.
If anyone else has video of attacking issues, definitely post them so there is evidence of the bug. It does seem there is a trend after the latest update where this is happening more often.
