If your base was weaker, I could understand the guy criticizing it, but you're pretty close to maxed TH8, and it looks like you're working on upgrading your defenses too. So don't worry about it, you'll probably be fine as long as you don't rush to TH10!

Thanks, I am focusing mostly on upgrading troops, as I've watched GOWIPE strategies and so I'm pushing for level 3 Pekkas next, I've seen GOWIWI as well, which I'll probably focus on after that.

What I'm wondering is what do people look for as far as recruiting for clans...if they see me as leader or my current clan mates with non maxed bases, does that deter people? This is not a recruiting post by any means but as a whole I'm trying to be a balanced recruiter/improving base/war strategy expert. The current strategy for me is just to upgrade troops, rax, and spells. Defenses as well but I'm not as focused because I feel like my troops are my main struggle in wars.

I would agree that rushing to TH10 is the worst decision you can make, but just browsing around here on the forums I found a good post about how TH8 and TH9 differences are really not that big. I completely agree, I think the pros outweigh the cons because of several things including Archer Queen and more dark elixir, as well as access to higher level troops and of course more defenses.

Decent mid 8. Very weak 9. Easily taken out by any 9 worth the title. Take a maxd 8, wipe your loot with the bonus taking more and worry not about revenge...

As a clan leader? I wouldnt look at a rusher...tells me they arent learning strategy, have no patience, bad vision, takes the easy/error prone way instead of building for long term and strength.

<br><br>Harsh much? LOL that's ok I'll take it. I have to say thought that when a good TH9 comes across me I do get wiped out but also the frequency of those raids became fewer when I upgraded. I'd say that at TH8 I was getting completely wiped probably 5 times a week. At TH9 since I've been working on it, I have only been destroyed maybe once a week, if even that. I don't know why this is, but even with such a "weak" base, I have more success now since I've got the archer queen, and extra defenses. Farming works better for me now as well since I have level 6 Barch.&nbsp;<br><br>
As far as being a clan leader, yeah I get that people might be deterred but if a leader is perfect then they're hiding something. I love playing clash, been playing for a year, this is my second account just became more serious in 2015. I don't really know what you mean by building for the long term and strength? I'm not going to TH10 until I'm maxed, my reasoning for jumping TH8 quickly is because I didn't see much of a different between the two and I was definitely not getting this much dark elixir which I need for clan wars.

I can max bk and all the dark troops ever since the 2nd de drill came out as a th8

you play what you want dude. I personally am a maxed th8, when i go into th9 there are fewer people attacking me (contradictory to my friend who has th7 defenses), theres no doubt about it. But when a th with a high levels of royals and/or th10 wamts your loot they will be getting it no matter what

Also i suggest you changed your base thou
an attack from the left/right can take 2 gold storage and your de storage. It has a lot of x junctions as well
