Curious to know which spell composition is recommended with mass dragon attacks, I have mainly used 3 lightning spells with these attacks, but when you come across bases with 3/4 well placed/centralised AD's which of these do you use? I always heard heal spells are not very useful against AD's but on the contrary some say they help weaken the amount of damage an AD does? So my question is do you use 3 rage or 2 rage and a heal?
Depends on the base, when airdefense is central in middle and you can get to the middle with 2 ragespells i recommend a heal spel, it doenst heal your dragons but it take serious longer to kill your dragons.
And try to get balloon lvl6 in your clancastle to send behind your dragons directly to the middle with the rage spells you get almost always a 3 star this way.
But when airdefense is more spread out use lighting for the one thats hardest to get to and attack from side where the airdefense is closest.
This is a discussion that crops up in my clan almost every war. tH9s and th10s that have stopped using dragons always say rage or lightening, but a couple of our 8s that do well with dragons always say they like taking 1 heal and rages. Seems to work for them but we have watched others fail. like most spells. Using heal needs to be used at the correct time or it's a wasted chance. Find what works for u as a player and u will start to look at bases closer and plan when certain spells will work and when best to use traditional ways (mass rage drags)
Seldom 3 rage. Mostly 2 rage, 1 heal or 2 heal, 1 rage. 3-light is also an option.
The idea that heal doesn't heal as fast as an AD does damage is a horrible one.
Agreed. But my question is: Why 2 heal 1 rage? Won't rage get them through the core faster?Quote:

To the OP: Don't use 3 rage, unless in special cases where it's needed to get to all 3 AD's fast. Use the dragons to tank for the assassin balloons which end up taking out the ADs.
