Those ugly skull walls

SC !!

BRING BACK THE OLD LOOK OF THE SKULL WALLS!!

I dont know if its a bug or what (like the elixir wall upgrades)

BUT after the update your skull walls now look ugly and the glossy part on the head part is lost and the red eyes are gone..

What have you done???????

I think its better on my screen, perhaps its the device your on? But again i think the walls graphics are fine, especially on my Droid and Tablet, but on my Ipod the walls are a bit damp.

Do skull walls still retain their glossy heads on yours? Or is it still .. different,.....

mine is android,,it deffinitely looked worse than before...
before the update these skull walls looked cool,, now ... they .. dont...anymore...

I think there the same on my Tablet, but with my Droid there better to me the grass actually looks grown at the bottom and there shiny, now on my Ipod there just damp. I think its just the device your on, not sure.

I second that motion. My walls use to look so sexy.. now they look a collection of some kinda animal fecal matter.

I have seen on my clan mates that lvl 8 walls do look ♥♥♥♥ed, as well as lvl 6 walls. My level 9 and 10 walls look okay. But i dont know what these red eyes you are speaking of. It has been awhile since I have had lvl 8 walls but I dont remember them having red eyes

it is not a problem with your device

I play on a galaxy s3, galaxy tab 3 and iphone 4 and my lvl 8 walls look like ♥♥♥♥ on all of them.. Supercell better fix this ♥♥♥♥ up soon

If you look closely (before update) , the glass that contains the skulls used to be obvious and quite glossed up. And you will see the skull's red eyes. (they have red eyes if you look closely)

I cannot understand..I have the same device.. It used to look cool on this device,, but now it doesn't?

Its not with our device, it was really changed.

But the grass look better now I agree with that

I'm playing on an IPad Mini and I'm also experiencing the same problem. The skull walls look more dull and uninteresting than before. I don't know if this is a bug or if it's supposed to be like that. This actually really frustrates me since I just started buying skull walls. :(

I didnt bother to screenshot them closeup before since I never though it would be a problem!

does anyone have a screenshot of these before the update?

The whole community would highly appreciate this if you post them here for clear comparison,.

perhaps sc "doesnt even know" (sarcasm)

The new walls, especially all the low ones, just feel so cartoonish, even if that sounds kinda odd.

Sadly my screenshot is my base zoomed out, so the skulls are hard to see. But by looking at the wall page on the Clash Wiki, it doesn't look like they changed them to the news ones yet. The level 3 still look like the old ones, and the lvl 8 do too. It may be good enough if we can't get a close up of the old ones in game.

I found a picture of the old wall, and numerous bases have the old walls if you just google something like "Clash of Clans level 8 wall."

The one on the left is just a few of the new ones, and it almost looks like some of the skulls are different in size..... Like the one jutting out and the one right next to it look different, it's weird.

The one on the right is the old one which is on the Clash Wiki and personally looks WAYYYY cooler, not this new one.

No problem, glad I could potentially help get this fixed. I am not gonna farm for months for my skulls to look ugly.
And that difference in size, are you seeing that too? Or am I just going crazy?

See those look great and all are uniform.
Unlike now with the weird ones being different. I wonder why they changed it? Like its also lower walls that look pretty ugly. They were fine before

With the size I am not so sure.. I am not so good with ratio and proportion, I'll have a girl look on these walls, they have better grasp of ratios and stuff. One thing for sure they look horrible now.

Updates are supposted to make things better. I cannot believe that this one made something that costs 500k gold look worse.

Yeah, I might not be the greatest with size and stuff, I have trouble drawing a normal looking stick figure at times :p so I could be looking at it wrong.
Have you seen the new level four walls? It doesn't really affect high TH's like us, but they look super hideous. The ones before were kinda big but they still looked good. They are now just terrible.
I saw them in another wall post of the Problems/Bugs sub-forum, it's worth a look

Nice, I like the comparison, it shows how different they are. Hopefully the community will take notice.

i found a bug!!!

hello.
I found a software bug in the game chat!
in persian language when a lot of(10 or more than) typing character '?' in chat box and sending this,crashed game and faced the error:
"unfortunately,clash of clans has stopped."
and blocked game account!!
please fixed and un blocked my account.

Some of the walls had really subtle changes, but others had some big differences with it why we're wondering why the change happened at all.

They tried to fix it by removing the weird grass next to the walls, which made them look smaller and ugly, but they still left the ugly designs! Skulls in lvl 8 walls went from being white to looking like they were smeared with fecal matter..

First of all this shouldn't be considered a "tremendous mistake" games update their graphics all the time! The subtle changes of the wall graphic makes you not want to play clash anymore, wow. I don't know if they give a damn about your hard work or not, but these walls look perfectly fine to me. (and yes I see the difference.) It sucks if you don't like it but I'm pretty sure they aren't going to backtrack and revert to the old graphic walls.

If you do decide to quit, you know where to put your collectors and mines ;)

I agree that no one should quit because of this.
I like the collectors comment BTW lolzlz that was hillarious.

But this is a mistake.

Updates should make stuff better. There might have been some graphic glitches that they overlooked or they might have never planned for them to look that way.

Ya Skull walls do look a lot worse, they look like a pukey yellow color

I pray they didn't..

Anyways,, they made the skull heads a little lighter now..but still uglier compared to the original ... not bad but I also cannot help to feel that we are being made fun of by this issue.
