I'm a fresh TH9 and am still trying to find a trophy range to plop myself down in. I'd love to see the opinions of some more experienced players. So I was wondering....
What range do you farm in?
What troops do you use?
How do you farm (describe the average base you raid and the raid)?

1200-1500
archers, gobs, barbs, wbers
100-150k...most bases th7 or 8
I hang around 1350 trophies. I typically only raid bases with filled mines and collectors, but sometimes I'll raid bases where the resources are easily accessible. Also, I try to only raid bases with 150K+ gold; elixir is not as big a deal to me since I always have too much anyway. As far as the army I use goes, I use two different ones. The first one I list is the one I use most often because it's cheap and can be produced quickly. The second one is the one I sometimes use when I go offline for a while. By the time I come back, I can attack once with the first army setup and then have the dragons already trained once my raid is over (since their training time in the barracks has already ended by the time I'm back online).
Army setups:
-80 barbarians
-104 archers
-8 wall breakers
-Barbarian King/Archer Queen (optional)
-40 barbarians
-64 archers
-8 wall breakers
-4 dragons
-Barbarian King/Archer Queen (optional)
Here's a raid I did using the second army:

1300-1500
giant/WB/gob/archer, sometimes barbs in place of a few giants if I need elixir. Numbers vary but never more than 10 giants and 12 WB.
I raid low-risk bases, there's enough abandoned collector bases and softball TH8s out there with good loot that its simply not worth it to chance an attack on double xbow/high level splash bases. Generally I can find a suitable base with 180k+ gold in about 10-30 searches. If I have both heros up and a rage spell finished sometimes I'll take a shot at a tough base though, if there is enough DE available (at least 1k).
1250-1350 is my sweet spot. Lots of good loot always
