Hving a symettrical base in war is bad as a base that is the same on all 4 sides is weak on all 4 sides as things like aq etc get coldblood/shattereds on them normally so you would purposely make that side weak or make it hard to get aq with storages etc. farming bases symettry is good for loot i guess for storages
