By late game the attacks you can make on a th10 are very limited. Hogs, Giants, and Valks all become high risk due to heal being a less efficiant spell thanks to inferno towers. So while many people go to th10 looking for more options, the reality is that they are now much more limited in what they can do at war.
You basically have about 2 choices. Lavaloonion, GOWIPE, or maybe a moded GOWIPE. Now you can plan your strategy for the drop all day, but against a good th10 your success ratio is pretty similar to flipping a coin. Maybe it works perfect, maybe it crashes and burns for a 32% 0 star. Now the first year I had a th10 that was ok I guess, but at this point it's just plain stale. I have been hoping for some new units to breath some life into this game for a long time. I figured since SUPERCELL is pulling $millions daily they really shouldn't have any trouble on this.....
I was wrong.
Instead of adding something to improve creativity in the game, they added yet another defensive tower that actually reduces the success rate of half your war army options. SUPERCELL's updates should give a player more to play with. More options for strategys and attacks that got us into the game in the first place. Instead we are seeing things like Heal being shut down by inf towers(why? They weren't strong enough allready!?) Or the windmill throwing a wrench into the lavaloonion. And for the record the Lavaloonion is not an easy 3 star attack on a well developed th10. Between cc, traps, infs, AD, and high lvl queen, it's darn near impossable.
Realy hoping some new units are the way.
