Hogs will be the new Go-To for TH8's

In case you live under a rock, there is a new Air Sweeper defense available at TH6 which will greatly affect the way we go about air attacks, from TH8 Dragloon all the way up to TH10 LavaLoonion. Now, maybe all it will do is change the attacking point for these attacks (attack behind the air sweeper), but what I am thinking is that Hog Riders may have just gotten that much better as a strategy, at least for TH8's. In my clan we advise our guys to get dragons to Lvl3 ASAP....maybe now we will want Hogs to Lvl4 asap.....who knows. Attacking just got a whole lot more interesting. Thoughts??

All because it'll be a little more tricky to do air attacks, doesn't mean they will stop being used completely. Far from it. The key to winning wars (in my opinion) is being able to successfully attack with a variety of army compositions. If you only use hogs, and come across a tricky base to hog, you're going to have problems.

Edit: I forgot to mention hybrid attacks. I can see strategies such as GoLaLoon becoming more commonly used to combat the new defence.

Hogs were already being used nearly as often as dragon attacks in the past few weeks...but yes I agree hogs are now gonna be the goto for th8 and th9.

i AGREE. The time for drags has ended for th 8, its time to start gowiping and hogging!

If u dont pick a right side, u fail to 3*...so it easy to manipulate it with this new defence, that isnt that powerfull, but it can screw up the whole attack.

Because of that is a game changer for me.

Dragon has never been an easy attack if the defender know what they are doing.

Especially SC secretly neft dragon by make it attack splash smaller. Took much longer to kill CC troops (not many people know about it, but experience dragon users know)

This new AD will make it a little harder, but it's not the end, I'm guarantee it.

GOWIPE will play a more important role in attacks i think

it should always be hogs to 4 and drags to 3 ASAP.....if you're a war clan that is.
