New Dark Troop - Dark Elf (or ice elf)
Dark Elf (or Ice Elf)
Tall dark elf with long white hair (gets longer as he goes up levels - down to the bottom of his back). Pointy ears (of course). Black moulded armour, high collar, big spikey shoulder guards, spikey gauntlets
He was raised far down South in the ice mountains.
His weapons are a curved sword (on left hip) and a long bow (over shoulder), he attacks with both sword and bow depending on the closest defensive target.
Dark elf unlocked at Dark barrack level 7 and TH10 $4 500 000 elixir and the barrack is black with icicles down the corners and roof.

Maybe have four-five levels
Level 1 sword 180 damage per second (sword strokes same as barbarian) (increasing 40-50 damage per level)
Level 1 Bow 140 damage per second (same range as archer, quick shots) (increasing 30-40 damage per level)
Level 1 hit points 2500 (increasing approx 400-500 hit points per level)
Special ability - Ice Berserker
The dark elf hates fires when he gets in range and is burned by the inferno tower he goes crazy. He roars his fury, powers up and sends a shock wave in all directions (12 tiles 50-100 damage to any building or wall), he is surrounded by a ice blue force shield and his hair goes up and spikey and messy like icicles (think of a dragon ball z power up)
His speed increase by half and his power doubles, he summons ice magic and blasts from a distance or smashes with his powered up hands. He cuts a direct path to the inferno tower destroying any defence, hero, cc troop or wall in his way trying to get at the inferno tower. Once the tower is destroyed he reverts to his normal state.
All hits points and health will need to calculated and potentially changed so not to over power defences or him being too weak and be destroyed before reaching the inferno.
He is primarily used to destroy infernos used with GOWIPE and other ground based attack strategies
2-4 of these guys could destroy defences and infernos quickly. Maybe he loses 10% of his health when he first gets burned (which sends him into his berserker state)
Another issue i thought of is the ice spell so maybe if a ice spell is used during his berserker state he reverts back to his original speed and power, but still stays surrounded by the ice force shield and spikey hair and cutting a path to the inferno, as soon as he is being burnt again the speed and power increase. If he is then attacked by the second inferno he does not lose the health or send the shock wave out.
The inferno could possibly do a extra 10-25% damage to him, again this will need to be calculated so he doesn't get destroyed too quickly.
If anyone could draw a design for this troop that would be awesome.

Uniqness of troops, Strategies, Army Composition and Redoing you base
Uniqueness of the troop
The uniqueness of the Dark Elf is that he can attack more strongly on defensive building close up or he can attack defensive buildings over walls (but not as strong). I think this would create interesting attack strategies as you would want him to attack defensive building on the way to getting into range of the inferno. But from a defensive point of view you could leave defensive building outside of the walls to lure him away from the range of the infernos, you would also keep the infernos closer to middle so he doesn’t get in range before he is destroyed.
I picture him being a fast unit with quick attacks, although you might need to reduce his attack power (and hit points) to counter his quickness, but you want him to have high housing space so you can only have 2-4 in one army composition and would have to really think about other troops to go with him because he would not take out the Town Hall first, you would need a clean-up crew (or heroes to do the job). You could even unlock him at TH9 so these guys can take out TH10 base’s
His main uniqueness is his ice berserker once he gets burned he goes crazy and is primarily used to destroy infernos. His berserker roar and shock wave would be cool to hear/see doing minor damage in a ring around him.
Strategies
The main strategy would be with golems and wizs and would make up interesting ground troop combinations. Do you send him in first (with a Golem as a shield) to destroy defensive buildings and the infernos or do you wait so other distracting defensive buildings (CC troops and heroes) are destroyed and 1-2 are used to clean up the infernos?
If heroes and other building are in range of the infernos does his berserker attack take them all out quickly so the rest of the troops (and your heroes) can destroy the rest ofthe base? Another interesting idea would be the use of spells if you’re a TH9 you can use him to take out TH10 infernos and have heals and rages to assist.
Or if you’re a TH10 do you keep the ice spells in to slow down the infernos as usual (or let him get closer before he is destroyed) or do you keep heals and rages only to keep him alive and give him more power/rage on top of his Ice Berserker to destroy the infernos and other building around it?
Army Composition
As mentioned before he would be used in a combination of Golems (or giants) and wizs. Plus the usual wall breakers and pekkas or witches. Army composition would have to be thought, if he only takes out defences you need a clean-up crew to take out the TH and the rest of the buildings so you might only use 1-2 just to take out the infernos and buildings around the infernos, then the rest of normal ground troops?
Defences and re doing your base
Would be interesting for setting defences as you might spread weak defences (cannon archer tower) outside walls as distractions for him so he gets destroyed before he can use his Ice Berserker.
Or have the strong defences (teslas, xbows and wiz tower) spread out across the base and not bunched them up around the center of the base as is usually done so he might destroy the infernos but him and the othertroops are slowly destroyed by these other strong defences.
You would have to design your base to be air attack/LAVALOONproof, GOWIPE/GOWIWI proof, hog proof, and GOWIDE (golem, wiz, dark elf) proof.
It might be protected from GOWIPE/GOWIWI attacks but leave you of open for GOWIDE (golem, wiz, dark elf) attacks.
