They never have been proved to work at giving better match ups at all.

I think they will still be useful. The sneak peeks never said it effects war match-ups, they only specially said regular match-ups. I'm reasonably confident that war won't be effected, judging by the wording used by SC.
just saw a thread about this claiming it will affect war matchmaking, so you should probably ignore what's above this.
I'm not sure how much this would affect the extreme 8.5 or 9.5. It depends on how much the matchmaking system would change. I can tell you, though, that the moderate .5 will still benefit. It's just like focus on offense first until you are strong enough to attack your own TH level, then catch up with defense. This will still help the smooth transition but probably will be worse for extreme .5 people.Quote:

Not really IMO. All they did was push you further down in your clan for matchmaking, thus giving you an easier time for yourself but not your clan really since the clans are compared OVERALL. At least thats my take on it.Quote:
