My barbarians and archers are currently level 5.
I am a slightly rushed TH10, so I always Barch as it is cheap and effective.
Is it worth upgrading my barbarians and archers to 7?
It doesn't seem like the damage output makes it worth it, and it'll just double my elixir cost per raid.
Opinions?
It's a huge difference. Get them to six to see the difference then you well want to get them to seven
Definitely upgrade barbarians and archers best troops for farming right there. I barch exclusively when farming.
absolutely worth
This is what i hate from some ppl when they state :
- the damage increase is so small or the hit point increase doesn't make much difference
- wiz lv 5 to lv 6 have a very little damage increase
- golem 4-5 doesn't add significant HP compare from golem 3-4
- lv 5 or 6 archer still got 1 hit from mortar lv x
- Arc lv 5 to 6 only add x damage
- and more
But, some of ppl only see their troops as a single fighter who goes alone to the battle field, in fact you bring a swarm of archer and barbarian on barch strategy, a pack of wiz or 2-4 golem on gowipe strategy, and etc. now multiply those 3-4 damage x 100 archer, few damage on wiz x 10 wiz and some health point from golem max times to the number of golem you bring. All of them give a significant different. Not mention when a bunch of your archers and wizards receive the rage spell

Which first?
Should I do 1 to 7, or both to 6?
Definitely both to six, starting with archers. The damage output from the archers while the barbs tank is what makes barch work so well.Quote:

level 6 is a nice boost cause the archers can stand up to another mortar hit. (up to a certain level)
I'm a th10 and not sure about going to level 7 though because i'm having no trouble farming as it is.
Both to six, then archers first to seven as you will often need them to withstand two hits from L6 mortar
why u should upgrade your barch...
- lvl 6 arch will start surviving those pesky lvl 5 mortar shots.
- lvl 7 arch will survive lvl 6 mortar shots.
- higher lvl barbs will take more mortar shots before mortars move onto arch
because of this you can hit much harder bases effectively improving your farming. (especially de farming)
