As a casual player this change in Match making is horrible. To gain money I need to keep my self logged on because the moment I log off I get flattened by a maxed out th 9 or 10. Which really makes playing pointless for anyone but hardcore players. I liked being able to control the competitiveness of the game by gaining or dropping trophies. And now that supercell is controlling that for me playing isn't fun anymore. So unless they they change it back I will be done playing this game.
This is a big help to cup hunting. Instead of finding only th10 that you dont have a chance against, now you find th8 or 9 like yours. Yes they have less trophies but at least you can attack them. Whats the point finding th10s with 30+ cups that u cant touch? Better find th9s with 20 cups that u can 2 star.

there was always a range, if you are sitting around 1300 you could be still in gold league and were able to get a target in silver

i have been playing for almost 2 years and new things have come, have been nerfed and people start complaining about how SC has ruined the game, they do it after every major update and after a few weeks people adjust, simple and easy
As written above the update is 1 day old, give it a bit time and if there should be an issue, then SC will react
