Multiplayer matchmaking

I'm a th10 in b3 and loot is good.
I should add that most of what you said is just theory best on your faulty understanding of the update. I don't see how it taking you spells to raid a th9 has anything to do with anything. Who else were you raiding before exactly?

wait... what? to my understanding the new matchmaking just pairs you with ths +-1 of your th level. so th8s will still get to barch th7s... all I know is im stoked to save the next costs from skipping th7s in C3, now I just wont see them at all.

NOW WITH THE NEW UPDATE I DONT GET ANY TOWN SNIPERS AND INSTEAD GET WRECKED BY TH10s. SCREW THIS GAME

Bummer that you feel this way. Maybe farming at a lower league with more THs at your level would help? To rely on TH snipes for all your loot is kinda a gamble and must be pretty frustrating to find. Masters is for TH10s and some TH9s typically but a skilled th8 attacker should be able to get 50% with 3 spells and drags or gowipe.

I love it. I've looted almost 5 mil gold today and 30k DE

Supercell didnt do this for low lvl players they did it so we spend money on the game

I'm a TH7 sitting at silver 2 right now, before the update I had to next a lot but I would still get fairly decent loot, now I am getting the same type of bases but absolutely NO loot, this has made the loot so much worse, does anyone notice a significant loot reduction here?

I love the new matchmaking!

I was already raiding with full armies since even before the update, it's not painful at all. Then again, I don't use mass drags for raiding (lol, who does?). But I'm using GoWiPes, and could get enough loot or climb trophies.

Now with this update I can easily find other TH8s and TH7s to raid even on Crystal 1 league. And even better, I'm getting attacked by other TH8s as well, meaning I can revenge them for trophies and loot. :D

In summary, this matchmaking update was just perfect for my style of playing.

Yes. My searches basically go th10 no loot; th10 no loot; th9 no loot; th10 no loot. Continue this way until I get tired of searching.

some things to consider :

raiding - potentially less nexting as your not sifting through low bases you wont hit but your now nexting strong bases with no loot as higher town halls are generally the most active.

defence - much more likely to be heavily raided for what little loots you have. is sniping relevant anymore?

pushing - still possible i guess to crush a th8 for cups but your now resigned to hitting inferno builds and using strong armies to gain cups. giarch etc for quick gains wont cut the mustard.

collectors- in theory better as your getting similar th raids so your not capped as badly.

maxed vs rushed vs premmie- totally agree with you that this favours maxers over everyone else. as a new th10 myself with maxed th9 defence but low heroes and legos im disadvantaged against my equals but im not as bad off as premmies and those with weak offence or defence.

leagues- whats the point in leagues now? loot bonus farming is now seemingly more difficult and you cant escape your equals to an extent as your going to find each other regardless.

personally matchmaking your equals sounds great to me and is something i wanted to ease my nexting woes but didnt realise the effects it would have. doesnt improve loot prospects, longer army builds, pushing is harder etc. i cant exactly barch a base for the loot like a dude with 40 royals. hopefully though this is not as negative as we percieve and is actually quite genius. fingers crossed!
