One of my clanmates got a -59 trophies because he's in Master II and was attacked by someone in Gold I.
This may become a problem because this was not a revenge attack! It was the new search mechanics (TH8 finds TH8)
Also, now he can only seem to find extremely low cup offers (like 3 or 4) because he's only finding other TH8s in much lower leagues than him.

Second compare winning a low league of same TH at 100% with few cup then having they revenge say maybe a lucky 50% and got X2 X3 the cup they lost. Doesn't makes a balance if revenge attack.

This is the worst possible update to this game. Im th8, borderline th9. I play throughout the day and would lose an average of 10 trophies per raid when i would idle out. Now im losing 50+ per raid. Im currently in M2 for the loot bonus and was attempting to make champion for the gems. Ive spent hours nexting only to find the ones im able to gain trophies off arent worth the troops or the trophies.
Im an admitted booster and will no longer be purchasing gems for boosting. One customer lost to this update. Im sure thats a small drop in the bucket for supercell, but if they ruin this game the way they ruined hayday, ill be taking my time and money elsewhere.
No need for angry or rude responses. I am whining and complaining, its one of my rights as a woman.
Before this starts I've read a lot of the comments around here and the general agreement is it's only rushed bases hurt by this new matchmaking but it's all of you. It's also believed that it's going to be easier to find loot bases in lower leagues, but if everyone is hunting for loot bases and being matched agaisnt them in 48 hours, loot bases will be gone.
For rushed bases yes, they are finished, everyone who failed to at least max offense and defense (can skip walls and heroes) are now completely useless against their equals who did max out everything.
For you regular players here is why. I've spent 8 months recovering from a very bad rush. I have a th10, level 20 heroes, max wiz towers, mortars, infernos and xbows, working on cannons and archer towers. Timewise I'm 2 months from maxing my offense. I finally am at least a decent th10. I realized I can out myself on the edge of master 3 and Crystal 1, leave my town hall exposed and constantly collect a shield. I learned barch is the cheapest way to score loot, and that with the loot bonus of master 3 i literally don't need to get a single drop of elixir from your base to gain elixir from the raid. All today, it's been loonion after loonion. There were a few th10s who took the town hall and ran but as a whole it's people looking to really raid hard. Now my raids typically are on weaker th9s with really zero loot available but super easy to 50%. All today I've been using spells and having to use my heroes to their full ability just to get 50%. Barching always worked by exploiting the loot penalty. People were willing to accept less overall loot in exchange for creating a cheap army and hitting a slightly lower base. This is now useless to pretty much anyone over th8.
On top of this, you have hindered lower townhalls even worse. We have all seen the th3 and th4 making their way to champs, and good on them, it's a rough thing to do. Part of the way they did this though was using bases like mine, they got paired with a th10 or th9 with an exposed town hall, and they sniper and went on. Now that's gone, they won't face th10s with a free town hall sitting there. They will face equals (which isn't a horrible thing) but every raid they do, they will have to raid with their best troops in order to get the trophies off their equals.
Finally you've made the different leagues a joke. There was some prestige before to raiding in Crystal, masters and specially champs. That's completely gone. As I stated before th3 and th4s who sniped into masters and champs was an accomplishment, seeing as most their equals were in bronze or maybe silver. Now though there's zero reason for them to ever drop trophies. It behooves them to just keep pushing because they will always come across equal level bases. It basically makes it so every player should just push into masters, there's zero reason to be in a lower league when your equals will appear in masters anyways.
My ending point is that I started this game in February of 2014. As i stated, I made a bad decision without knowing certain information, but I accepted when I was a low th6 that th7s were going to raid me. Every single th8 knows that feeling when they see a live raid on them happening from a th9, but we accepted it, we lived with it and we played the game before with it. Now, we will know the pain of having to make an expensive army to raid someone on an equal level for a handful of coins if we are lucky. Th8s will know the pain of spending 300 elixir to make a full Dragon raid just to go look for loot because barching an equal, or a rushed th9 is no longer going to happen
In closing, the new matchmaking isn't going to help anyone, it's going to make us all broke.
Matchmaking update is just terrible. Haven't found anything to raid (storages or collectors the entire day). I guess I'll be more productive at work? Maybe I'll just give game of war a try im sure they have plenty of new players with all their advertising.
