fixed??

If what we have now is fixed, then please break it again. I just logged in to watch my mid level th8 get destroyed by a th9, again. Happens every day and a half to two days. 30 minutes before, I was only 1500 de away from being able to upgrade my BK. Now I'm 3100. Someone please explain how this is better. I'm at roughly 1400 trophies now, but that doesn't seem to matter. I also have a th9 account that is at about 1700 trophies that might get truly attacked once a week. Both are farming bases but the th8 still gets crushed so often I am thinking about quitting.

Sorry, please let them fix it so you never get attacked anymore..

Yes, quite, but I'll go about it a little more nicely.

You're getting destroyed every 1.5 to 2 days? That means at the very, very least, 3/4 of your shield less logouts DON'T result in a proper smashing. Even less if you actively raid and break shield multiple times per day.

This means that even 1 raid then logout (which is never advisable at ANY TH below decent 10, but i fully understand may be unavoidable with life/play habits) you would still be making 2-3 raids of loot (by your own provided def info) for every major loss.

That is enough for significant progress. Just make sure the steals are good ones.
If you are trying to rely on collectors only, then you WILL go backwards.

An appropriate question to ask is: if you feel major loot loss should be less than every 3rd or 4th defence, spread that across the whole game, where is the loot going to come from? Collectors only? Won't work.

The only thing is as you advance in Th level, you eventually get to the point where you can make that trip to champs/masters. Honestly with my maxed Th10 (aside from heros/walls... wait time on sweeper) and a Th8, their really isn't a huge rush to get that 5th builder. If your dumping loot into walls and maxing before hitting the next th level.

BUT your totally spot on that it does way more to limit weaker th levels progression in trophies than it does to encourage high th levels to raise cups. My th8 went from like 2475 to 2400 in one day do to defenses on barch style attacks. But honestly this could very well change as everyone settles into the new system. The more people who push, the more targets their for them to attack.

Still you point out a remaining issue SC has not yet fixed. That being trophies mean little to a farmer. Advancing in leagues often means sacrificing loot, which seems counter to the point of the trophy system. Also defensively their is like no point to defending my Th. Here is why

1) If I get sniped, at least I lose no loot

2) If I defend myself, I am pretty much putting up a sign - hey guy packing mass dragons, GoWiPe, or whatever; I defended my th! Loot all that juicy loot is just waiting for you to steamroll my base into oblivion!

And what do I get if I miraculously actually defend myself? Rearm costs, inactive traps and if I am a higher Th inactive defense structures... so the next smo can face roll me even easier!!

Yes, because TH8 is the highest town hall level in the game and should be impervious to most attacks :smirk:

i am all for the new matchmaking, just think it could use a little tweaking as there are only seconds that go by when logged off and am getting attacked already. not sure how the queue works but it seems its putting all active players at top of the list rather than the inactive easier to farm bases. (which is good to mix in a little bit)

the new matchmaking added a new dynamic to the game where you have to actually work for what you get, whereas i was looting roughly 5 mil a day from inactive bases (which excelled my overall base level pretty quick)prior to the new matchmaking. and now i can still get a few mil a day but have to work for it and in the end it will help with the overall skill level of players and keep them more interested in the game as to not excel so quickly you lose interest.

Apart from walls and heroes, I'm a maxed th9. The only place I can find gold or elixir is in the 1100s now, and I literally lose 6000 dark a day down there from zaps alone. Before the update, I was pretty happy in gold 1. Now it sucks everywhere.

just have to make better troops dude! i was barching like crazy before update now i gibarch. using the giants to make it to middle and get those storage's. it is cost effective and doesnt require spells for most attacks. try searching a bit longer or move to Crystal i have been finding good loot there. not to mention if you can ♥♥♥♥ it in Masters, you will get good loot from league bonuses so if you only gain about a hundred, you get 100k more for bonus.

The new match making isn't good for me

This match making system makes it more difficult for new Town halls. When I was Th8 it was pretty uncommon for me to get 2 or 3 starred. When I got to Th9 (on Saturday), things changed. Every attack on my base was at least 2 stars (unless it was a drop) and I lose more loot than I can raid back. I had 290 000 elixir and 39 000 dark elixir just before I got to th9 and now, 3 days later, I have 210 000 elixir and 21 000 dark elixir.

I'm not making any loot! Like I said, I'd raid like 180k elixir and 600 elixir and 2 seconds after I log off, a Th9 with an op queen comes and raids 200k and 1k elixir. My new th9 can't handle other Th9 attacks.

Here's my problem: I keep losing to th9s---I need xbows and a queen to protect against th9s---I can't get xbows and a queen because I keep losing to th9s
