My TH9 has been getting pretty solid loot using Levl 6 Barch with 4 giants and 4 wallbreakers. Gives me some flexibility to get into the cores on TH8s and weak 9s, and of course barch up the collector bases I find. Currently I am hitting about 50% storages (mostly for DE) and 50% collectors (anywhere from 100k each to 350k each). You don't need to train super strong armies, just need that little bit extra to get deep into bases.

No, sadly not. It got horrible to farm in silver or gold. No more good loots and too powerfull players. I just upgraded to TH9 and 70-80% of my opponents are powerfull TH9 and TH10 bases...

Yeah, I'm lucky if I can manage to once get barch LV6 ;)

I find it amazing how reluctant people are from training some of the more expensive troops. Even to the point of quitting rather than using them. :straightface:

I know how to use them, cause I love to play clan wars. The point is: Building these troops takes time (beside that they're expensive) and I don't stay online doing nothing than waiting for them to get ready. So I log out and actually the chance of getting fully raided by stronger players and loosing ressources while being offline is pretty big (in silver and gold!) Means high chance to loose more than you're able to win with one attack.

I know that you folks being enhanced TH9 and TH10 are totally happy with this update, but ask lower players in your clans or global how they get along now. Right now there are lots of quitting..

horrible update

I'm getting smashed every time my shield drops. Just went from max th8 to th9. Now it's as if trophies don't even matter. You can't even escape the stomping by retreating to a lower league, the max th will just find u and take 3x the amount u make in a raid. It needs to be fixed yesterday

Actually, we have discussed the change in both of my clans, players range from TH7 to nearly maxed TH10s.

Nobody in either clan (that's 0 out of about 100 players) has any issues with the change.

General consensus is that loot is much better, nexting is much better, but bases do tend to get hit a bit harder in the lower leagues.

Your case is a bit atypical since you are a new TH, and new THs of all levels have always been hit rather hard since well before this update.

Sorry to hear that. Once my blue walls are done, I'll stop. To be fair it has taken me 2 1/3 years to get to the point at where I'm at and I've been farmed plenty.

Ahh, that explains it. Down there you will not get any TH snipes and the high TH players are all down there hunting for loot. It's actually much safer in the upper trophy leagues, at least for early TH9s it is.

I'm a TH8 and currently at around 2550 trophies, I get TH sniped almost always and can easily save up resources even while logging off after each attack.

That is really quite different to what people are saying in my clan. Many of us are quite close together with town hall 8 or 9 and level around 80-90. Maybe the thing is really that we're just up to play clan wars and don't go for trophies. So many of us are playing in silver and gold. None of these people is happy with new farming-system.
