Multiplayer matchmaking

It seems that all complainers were casuals who gets attacked a lot by strong army. Imagine CoC without that so-called TH snipe. This is exactly what will happen and it's suppose to be this way. And a lot of casuals here are expecting to progress their village without putting an effort. What a JOKE.

Now I got the idea. I just put 1 of my elixir storage outside beside my th. Always sniped since then.

But farming still need to be done on session. No matter what do not ever log off or be raided. Well now I could move on . Usually its th8 that find me and snipe then go to storage but they fail. My gold always go to wall

Th9 usually find me when I'm on my session getting disconnected because of my max loot offering
I'm th8 on silver 1

Do you think that will change anything? I never cared about trophies. I just like to play clan-wars and therefore enhance my base. It is so strange now, cause silver league feels now like beeing in master.
I've spend two hours yesterday evening and again two hours this morning (which is normally a perfect time) to gain some ressources, but it's a disaster. I didn't count the amount yet, but it's extremely poor. Like I said, I'm a fresh TH9 which means my troops are still TH8. I can't beat that strong TH9 or TH10 bases which are now my most common opponents and good loots from weaker players are extremely rare now. Of course I can build stronger army like mass-dragon or gowipe, but that means a building-time of at least one hour just for one attack (anyway hard to gain all of the ressources from strong TH9 and TH10 bases with these strategies). Honestly, I don't know how to go on playing. For example upgrading balloons from LV5 to LV6 for 6 million elexir seems impossible, cause the amount is so insane compared to what you are able to farm. Everyone in my clan is complaining about that, we're mostly enhanced TH8 to just upgraded TH9. We're all just stucked in game. Maybe going to a higher league-level will change the balance, but somehow stupid if you're not interested in trophies...

it will most definitely change, im almost max th9 and was in silver for a cpl weeks and started to push back to masters and i see waaay more th8 in crystal then i do th9. Most of the higher th and tough bases dropped down to silver so its not a good place to be for a frsh th like yourself. Since getting to crystal i have only been storage raided once and tons of snipes from th8

I will try that out, but I don't get the logic. The new farming system is described as getting equal opponents no matter in which league you are. And the strong ones are now in silver/gold and weaker ones in crystal? :facepalm: I think my problem now is that I have maxed out my base before going to TH9 and for that my "base-rank" is quite high so that the new system shows mostly other TH9-bases or TH10, no matter that I still have TH8-troops.

From purely financial standpoint, it really doesn't matter how people play the game as long as they choose to stay. This is what SC needs and the hidden norm in this updates-To keep people stay with the game. Casual players are a considerable custermer base for SC, their opinions matters. Why? Cause lost a customer means lost money. Maintaining a dead account is costly. If this updates could push causal players away from the game because they can't play the game the way they like . It can expect to see more dead accounts will been created. Is this situation sounds like benefiting the whole game community including SC itself? I doubt it.

From a purely financial standpoint, Clash is still the #1 top-grossing mobile game in the world.

You may think you know how to increase profits better than a multi-billion dollar company, but I'm pretty sure they know exactly what they're doing.

Yeah, and I think there are a lot of "casual players" like me: Not interested in being one of the top-players, just enjoying clan wars and buying little amounts of juwels from time to time. I have spend about 20-30 Dollars since I'm playing. That is not nothing. But if Supercell is not satisfied with their financial income they should go on and slightly change the game to benefit "VIP-Players" from update to update. (touch of irony)

Billion dollar company made mistakes to grow. It hard to grow to its rank but even harder to sustain its status quo. I don't think I am outsmart than the company, like you said, i think they pretty know what they doing and so do I. I am just saying causal players' voice need to be heard. And i will not make a laugh on how they play the game like some hard core players did.

I don't see any numbers to back up your claim.

What I do see is that they're still #1.

If Clash had dropped off the charts after the update, your claim might have some validity. But that's not the case.
