The difficulty of the adversary is pretty much the same at all level and the game has simply turned into a crush of the weaker by the strongest, with no sheltering option being offered.

Frankly, i do hope you fix this soon enough. I am positively disgusted and really think of quitting.

You really should only hoard 1 resource at a time. Is your townhall outside your base?

I agree, and I made a thread about similar issues as well. The bottom line is like you said trophy pushing or trying to be the best doesn't mean squat anymore. Now you have just as much competition in bronze as you do champs, so as I continuously say, what is the honest incentive to go up in league anymore? and before anyone says the loot bonus, that also means squat since you gotta spend that alone going all out with full armies and spells to even get it in the first place, also assuming the person even has worthwhile loot lol.

If as you and others seem to be saying there is no difference between being in silver and masters, then wouldn't the choice be really simple? If you need to face the same bases using the same army regardless of league then why not move up to get the loot bonus?

Also moving up to crystal or higher will significantly increase your chances of getting your TH sniped for a cheap 12 hr shield. In the low leagues there is no incentive for anybody to snipe, but the league bonus provides that incentive at higher leagues.

For instance, last night I gemmed my barracks and level 10 BK. I attacked about ~30 times and actually dropped 100 trophies but won %92.5 of them. (lost because I got frustrated and attacked th9s which I probably shouldn't have and dropped 30 trophies)
Is anyone else experiencing this garbage?
I drop down to crystal 2 and even below 2450 trophies and I again can find th7s worth 15 trophies and th8s I can take for 25 trophies.
Sorry for the rant but it's incredibly frustrating.

EDIT - I just had my shield come up so I went through matchmaking to record.
while nexting I found:
25 - th9 with 2 upgraded xbows
3 - th9 with 1 xbow
1 - th9 with zero xbows
3 - th8 maxed offering 4 to 6 trophys
1 - th8 mid offering 2 trophys - this was the last one i found and attacked getting %68 and 1 trophy. Also 1000 de.

That doesn't make any sense to me as a th8.

Your not getting trophies because there is not many th7,8 in masters, you lose a lot when u get attacked by lower leagues. It's always been that way, only diff now is you have to fight your own level to get there. Master and champs will be extremely tough for th8 and below because they really don't belong there and won't find any equal level opponents

I purposely waited to post my response to the multilayer match up change, to give a chance to disprove my original thoughts and to give the change a more than fair chance.

I am getting no benefit from this change at all. I am th8, crystal 2 league. It still takes me well over 5 minutes to find a worthwhile target. I still get stomped by th9 and th10 players, the moment I get of shield. I am a prime target, because I often have full elixir storages and collectors, due to having nothing to spend elixir on. The moment I get anywhere near 35k de, saving for the bk, golem and Valk upgrades, I guarantee a th10 will come squish me, everytime lol.

I understand how the match up changes help th10 find other th10, but sacrificing all other groups of players to keep one group happy, is never a good idea.

The problem, is the league system needs fundamental changes. Skirting around the issue will just continue to make players leave or become more disinterested.

Although the intentions of supercell were to avoid,essentially bullying of low leveled players by high levels, they fail to recognize that those who constantly farm instead of raiding are now subjected to constant attacks. The new matchmaking system makes it impossible for casual players to continue collecting resources. Supercell argues that it will help players remain more active and encourage players to participate more, however, the exact opposite is true. I no longer see the point in gathering resources if the second I log out, I lose everything and then some. I believe that the new update has taken away a crucial element of the game: farming. Those original players, who initially pushed straight to town hall 10 without maxing out everything else, now face regret more so than ever before. It is my honest opinion that if this update were to be upheld, casual players will no longer find a place within the system.

It seems that Supercell does not want people to be able to play by only using collectors without ever raiding, while at the same time only ever being sniped by low level player rather than being properly attacked, as evidenced by this latest change to matchmaking.

At the end of the day this is a game about raiding and being raided, and that's what Supercell wants everyone to do. If you don't want to raid or be raided then why play a game that is built entirely on the concept of raiding and being raided? There are plenty of games out there where you can save up from tapping your buildings and upgrade your village without the raiding aspect, maybe one of those games would be better suited for you.

It seems Supercell is faced with a choice between making the game better for either the very active players, or those that don't really play at all. If you were them which group would choose to support?

I agree with this as well. Not everyone is a hardcore clasher and able to play this and raid every 20 minutes sun up to sun down. Before the update, this kind of stuff only applied to masters players or higher, which were obviously the people who were hardcore players. One of the issues now is that since even bronze can be hardcore now, the "casual players" will probably end up quitting even more, again the average person in this game does not have sun up sun down to farm and stay positive on resources now due to these changes making all leagues super competitive now, as well as like you said getting raided every 5-10 seconds.

I personally think it is more broken now, this update seems to soley be intended for th10's if you ask me, but ended up kind of screwing over all those who are under and casual who plan to hold/make big loot for upgrades in a reasonable time frame..

Im at th8 going up to th9. Maxed base. Literally impossible to make a profit without keeping the app open for more than an hour.

For a phone app that's honestly ridiculous.

Intention was good, but this has devastated farmers who aren't at th10.

I feel that this latest update, not nice.
it annoys me to find, gold, and dark elixir elixir.
we spend capital to make troop between 150 and 1500 k dark elixir elixir and we vaillage to attack,
if we can attack only 50k 200k profit alone can not be directly kami.some time. hope to change as before and do not think the gain of defending the only gem, think a lot of players out there who do not agree with this latest update
