Win bonus *is* based *solely* upon the attacker's league.

What you said that started this discussion is that all I have to do to solve the problem of getting regularly hammered by higher level players is to move my TH outside and increase my trophy count - Easy Peasy as you say. And as I said before, my TH has always been obviously out and easily taken. It still makes no sense that increasing my trophy count is the easy peasy answer that you promised. It is still obvious to me that increasing my trophy count will bring even higher level players more quickly to my door, which makes no sense at all.

Getting players quickly to your door is key! You will get sniped more quickly!!

Your TH is out and WAS easily taken when lower THs were around to snipe you. That is no longer the case. If you hang out in Gold 2, then mostly people in gold 1-3 will see your base. Those people are not TH snipers. They can't be, because they know the win bonus of their next victim is going to be low. They also don't have barch, they got an army ready to deal some damage.

You would be a nice win IF someone in Masters got to see your base in Gold 2, but that just does not ever happen. They never see your base, so you will rarely get sniped.

Besides, higher level players isn't a big deal at all. They still have an incentive to just give you a shield because the win bonus is so much sweeter.

The higher you go, the more likely it is that you will be seen by someone who is in a high league.

Your alternative, as you mentioned before is to stay where you are, continue to get creamed and eventually quit.

This update fixed cheap shielding in low leagues. People need incentives to snipe. Previously, lower levels would have wanted the snipes so they could increase cups easily. But now that people at your own level are finding you, these are the ones that want to stay low. Without a decent league bonus, what incentive do they have to snipe you?

But in higher leagues, it is usually worth more to take a snipe, end the battle, and save your troops for the next raid because of the high payout of league bonuses.

Ok, I finally see your point now and I'll give it a shot. Thanks for sticking with me on this.

Please change it back to what it was. This will just make things harder for newly upgraded th9-10 since they will be raided by fellow th9-10 whose troops are already maxed out.. Once a player reached th9-10, more likely they will quit.
