Multiplayer matchmaking

Now i never get th sniped its always attack after attack on my base until i get a shield. I lose so much resources this way and i also get lightning spells dropped on my dark elixir storage. Supercell undo this update its making the game horrible and im matched up against tougher base. Im a new th9 and i cant storage raid maxed th9s and 10s. Please at least give us some reassurance by responding and letting us know that you guys are listening

I've been 2400-2600 trophies for 36 hours now. I've gotten 3 shields in that time and been attacked 8 times.
5 of the attacks stopped at 34-39%. Two of the shields were 63 and 67% the other one was a 41% so that one seemed accidental since the attacker didn't use all their troops or spells. I wasn't able to get this with 15-20 minutes of play a day with 2 attacks. It took me pretty much staying logged on to get up there. So people who post "get in a more appropriate trophy league", I am not sure if your advice is correct at least the last 36 hours have shown it not to be for me. I am willing to try something to make it work but I'm not sure what.

To be clear I lost more with each "shield" than I can get in one raid even with premium nexting to find a perfect base. I still hold to the it seems I'd have to sit with it on and keep it active and raid several times to make up for the deficit.

Went from 800 trophies to 2300 in a day defending all wins no shield for 24 hours and maybe lost 1000de from de snipes that's it. People try to attack me but fail miserably so I think you just need a better base dude.

Place your collectors/storages around your town hall. You'll get shield faster.

Actually attacking "a couple of times a day" will not do in this update, why?

After you log out, someone stronger will raid you and end it at 39% leaving you with no shield, then another 2 to 3 attacks like that until someone makes a mistake and give you a shield. Even if he gains every time he attack he will still lose more when he logs out. The only way new TH9 and new TH10 can survive is by using gems, or staying online most of the time. Before the update they have another option.. that is to get sniped by lower TH and give them shield.

Let me guess, you have almost max (if not max) defense and offense? Only a few can actually raid your base? or you buy shield all the time? Well whatever, just because you're not having problems doesn't mean that you're playing the game right and everyone complaining is wrong. Just because you're an active player doesn't mean you're special. Stop trying to act so smart, look in the mirror maybe your head is getting too big.

As a town hall 10 chilling in gold all the preemie the 10s get totally smashed. My max troops take all their loot. Thanks for the help supercell.

I am a New Town hall 9 (One Month Old) with Level 8 walls and Heros (BK at Level 10 & AQ at Level 8). All my new defenses are maxed at Town Hall 8 with Level 1 xbows. All Existing troops (except barbs and balloons are at TH9) are at TH8.

Raid Review:

I am getting TH7,8,9 & 10 with similar kind of hero stats however, TH10 with Level 3 Infernos and Level 4 xbows, which obviously i cannot raid but eventually knowing they can raid me.

Defense Review:

Majority of the Raiders are TH10 with Same kind of Walls and Hero stats but maxed troops at TH10 and base defenses are also maxed at TH10. Revenge seems to be a waste of troop against Level 3 inferno tower and xbows.


Feedback:

Though the loot has increased anyways , player defense and offense is calculated at wall level and hero stats.

I am open for any suggestions. I can live with this update.

We've done some subtle multiplayer matchmaking balancing in order to better protect players with low level Town Halls. After these changes, all players will be more likely to find multiplayer opponents that are at or near their Town Hall level, regardless of Trophy count. For more details, read below.


As armies and Heroes get stronger and stronger, the threat (and temptation) of crushing weaker players with a decked out Town Hall 9 or 10 army becomes ever more present. For example, a player at Town Hall level 9 in the Bronze league will be very likely to find opponents at Town Hall levels 8-10 who are also in the Bronze league.

For most players who are attacking at a Trophy level appropriate to their progress in the game, little or no change will be apparent in their multiplayer matchmaking searches. However, for players who have dropped to a very low Trophy count, these changes will inhibit (though not completely prevent) matchmaking against significantly weaker targets. These players will instead be matched more often to other players at a similar Town Hall level who have also dropped to a very low Trophy count. In the cases where there are very few appropriately-leveled targets available, these players may have to wait longer in matchmaking to find targets.

This behavior also takes effect in the opposite direction; weaker players will be less likely to be matched against disproportionately strong players. For example, a player at Town Hall level 5 in the Silver league will be very likely to find opponents at Town Hall levels 4-6 who are also in the Silver league.

As a special note, matchmaking in Champion league has been left as-is and will not have any special Town Hall considerations.

Before i could find, TH 10 with more than 500K loot. Now because of this Update i can only find Th 8 most of the time, with just 200-300K loot. This update is a ♥♥♥♥

I honestly don't believe that happened in this last update to you. Unless your gold/elixir/DE were very low and there wasn't much to gain. I unfortunately was sitting on 5 mil gold 4 mil elixir 50k DE because I was saving up for level 3 inferno upgrade, and level 7 giant upgrade. Heroes are BK 15, AQ 20, so 50k DE isn't enough to upgrade them right now. I've already maxed dark troops. I have lvl 9 walls, and all defenses are at th9 capacity to be maxed. Infernos are level 2 but that shouldn't make that much of a difference. I am using a base design in war that has had good success usually preventing two stars.

Perhaps the only solution is to just drain all my resources and never have any. Then maybe people would snipe the TH since I wouldn't have loot to offer them. I'm not going to quit the game, I just don't like the update because I am a "casual gamer" in that I can't raid for hours on a routine basis. I would be more than fine if they removed the cooldown on shields though. I would take the option to turtle out if going to higher trophy league doesn't seem to work.
