The green exclamation point bookmarks troop requests. I feel this is enough. Especially since some war troop requests can sit for a while before being filled. (It takes time to cook those dragons!)
Otherwise, the top of the chat can get cluttered pretty quickly.
Personally, I feel the "bookmark" feature alerting other players that there is an open request down in chat (that takes your right to it!) is sufficient.
No but I mean when it physically falls off the chat. There can only be 100 messages at one time, eventually it'll slip & just vanish until you re request.Quote:

Well, what are we supposed to do if they want a hound and it takes 45mins to cook? Our chat will normally roll off after about 45mins... Therefore they request slips. I don't think that's considered a non donating clan...Quote:

My first response is that in that time, you can re-request for the LH 2-3 more times depending on Clan Level.
Our clan will generally have a couple of player per war who keep a stock of often used troops (Hogs, Drags, Golem, Witches) so they are usually ready when people attack.
Also, I will generally ask someone specifically in chat, "Hey can you cook me a ____" then when it is done they will say, "Hey ____, it's done, request now"
Just me though and if they do time out it would be a simple fix that wont take away from the game.
Actually, yeah, I agree with your workarounds. Same things we do too. I don't think what he describes is that much of a problem that they need to get all goofy with the chat functionality for.Quote:
