If you maxed your farming troops, you get more loot because you can attack stronger bases that are a higher level and thus have a higher maximum cap that can be stolen.
Plus at TH7 and TH9 you gain access to a new hero

My view on most rushers is they don't know how the game works and most likely have no clue what they are doing.
lol alot of the time i came out with over 400k of gold and elixer was because i was hitting a rushed th9.so i would like to take a moment and thank all the rushers for helping max out my th8. in a few days i will be a th9 with enouth loot to get my next journey going. so for those of you who want to rush go head ill be waiting. my new th9 will need your loot. thank youXD
To everyone who thinks rushers have a hard time getting loot and will be rekt by higher Th, you are wrong. Here is a picture of my base after a few days at Th9. I was able to get AQ to lvl 3(upgrading to 4), 25 new walls to skull, 15+ lego walls, archer to lvl 6 in 10 days, CC, and 2 army camps. You will only get wrecked when you have full storages, which is rare when you stagger your builders since resources can just be used on walls. As long as you have max barch, you would be able to get as much loot as a max Th8 who upgraded to th9. By The time a max th8 upgraded, the rushed th9 would have lvl 5+ AQ, max DE drills, max camps, cc and better walls. Here is the proof:

Absolutely true. I have maxed th8 walls, around th6 defences. For the people who say they get easy loot blah blah all Decent rushers dump their loot into their walls.
And getting stomped on by th9s for all your loot..if you can't raid back 250k you must be pretty bad.
I wish everyone in this game other than myself and my clanmates rushed their bases. Go right ahead and upgrade that TH!!
If you attack 300 times or more a season you're wasting your time maxing honestly...but that's just my opinion
I will, and I will stomp you in the wars when my offense is far superior and your "I must max" defenses are over-weighting your bases in war matchmaking.
lol your primary income is war loot?
What's it like to progress soooo slowly compared to the people who farm via raids?
Another problem to the thoroughly mentioned loot penalty and slowed farming is the prevalence for rushed bases to have inexperienced players who haven't spent enough time learning lower level/easier attacks before moving on to more advanced and efficient attack strategies.
Now that wouldn't affect a farming clan as much if they don't war often but at the same time a farming clan knows the value of maxing out a base before upgrading th.
Besides all this, its a video game. its online. people are going to bust your balls.
