Rushing is not bad it allows others to take more loot. If I raid storages mostly it is a rusher th9/th10 who have full storages(I don't know not spend it on something). Really if all were maxers then there will be less loot. I'm with people rushing their townhall for community benefit :D
Rushers are not bad .. to raid and prey upon.
At th6 or th7, you will have a hard time getting into a competitive clan that have wars to win.
If you come into th8 with pink walls, you have a long way to go before you will be accepted..
"Competitive clan" = clan that does not advertise "free elder" or "free co" in global to attract new members.

There is nothing wrong with rushing as long as you are keeping your offense up to par. In fact I'd argue that everyone should rush to at least TH7; maxing every level before that is pretty pointless, and farming becomes way easier at TH7 with the 4th army camp and racks.
No they are not bad. U get tons of easy loot from them
The problem with rushing is the loot penalty. Once you're a TH10 for example, you can't get as much resources from a TH8 as you could if you were still a TH9. So in theory, it's beneficial to stay at the lowest town hall possible, because there won't be a loot penalty. The benefits of being a TH10 are only that you can attack TH10s, but if you rushed there, you troops still wont be strong enough to win raids, and you defenses won't be strong enough to protect you.
There are two ways to look at it.
Rushers POV - harder to get loot, but can get the big toys such as Queen & X Bows fast.
Clans POV - Will develop slower due to bad loot and will get a high rating in clan war they may not be able to sustain.
