a way to nudge a raid in your favor

Hi guys and gals.

Before i begin and get bombarded by comments such as: "dude this idea has already been discussed" or "what about cost" "what about the stats for the spell" etc. Im not a developer so some of the specifics of this spell can only be set by the developers during their testing phase, assuming this idea gets implemented.

I also realize this idea has undoubtedly been suggested in the past. This is just my 2 cents.

'This spell would be a troop rallying spell.

In order to preserve the game balance i suggest that it lasts only like 2-3 seconds and make it more expensive than other spells, say like 50k or so and limit one per raid with a 2hr production time.
This spell will atract all troops within a radius (similar to the radius size of a cannon or archer tower) to targeted spot for the amount of time specified.
I understand that clash of clans is designed to be kind of a puzzle game where you study the layout and try to direct the flow of troops based on a prediction attained through experience and the clever use of available troops and their specific function.
A few seconds, i feel, won't drastically affect the game but it will give players a slight degree of control over their troops at the precise moment they feel is best.
lets face it, the A.I. of the game is not perfect. How many times have troops been stuck on walls for no logical reason while they get massacred over the wall by a defence that could have been easily targeted.
It would be useful to be able snap your troops out of the algorithm that caused them to prioritize that structure over the ones that you as a user define as more important.
Another elemement this brings into the game is the ability to make slight changes to the original strategy based on troop losses do to the encounter with hidden traps like a giant bomb or a tesla. This would kinda balance the unpredictability of formulating a strategy bases on guessing wether its a bomb or a tesla in that 4 by 4 open space.
It can also be used to rally and regroup your troops in a desperate effort to take out that last defence thats decimating you troops.

So in conclusion. I think this would be a good addition to clash of clans.

I think it would ruin the poin of single target inferno towers a bit because if the inferno locks onto your king(for example) and stays on him for a long time all yo would have to do is place down a heal and then that spell and he would be fine and the inferno tower would loose its power

Also it would make healers and heal/rage/jump spells to op because if your troops go the wrong way all that you would need to do is use that spell and then would be back to where you want them

Also if it was for a lower th like 6or7 then making open area will be useless because the giants will just ignore the closest defence until the wall is broken 3-2 seconds is all a wall breaker needs to explode

Well thats the point of the spell. To influence the movement of your troop for two to three seconds.
If that is enough to get them out of danger then all the better.

Two to three seconds is really not enough time to cause a major impact to the gameplay, especially if its localized to an effective radius the size of the currently available spells. At least no more impact than the already implemented spells.

You forget that after the spell wears off troops go back to attacking the closest available target and back into the line of fire.

The cost of the spell will influence the decision of the player to use it.

Think about it. Can you really deploy your troops then deploy a jump spell then deploy the compulsion spell and be able to reach town hall in three second.

Why would you use this spell to get your troops further into the village and bypass all the outer defences. Your troops would be bombarded as they passed the defences and into range of the other defences in the interior of the base.
You would be sending them to a slaughter house and you just wasted 50 k elixer.

Come on ppl prove this spell to be a bad idea.

Huh? I dont understand what you are trying to explain.

How far can a giant walk in three seconds?

At the start of an attack if your giants target a defence outside the base then if you used the spell and sent in a wall breaker you might not be able to get the troops on the base right at the start
