We all know some people are always "on" resulting in almost never being able to revenge attack to get your loot and cups back
What if revenge attacks are allowed anytime EXCEPT when the other person is attacking... regular attacks will remain only when the other person is not logged on. This way, people will be more "careful" of who they decide to attack and makes it more fair for the other person to get their chance at revenge
But it would kick the person who attacked you offline when they got revenges.
Messes with the loot calculation, and also what about if they have a shield? does it add or or overlap or reset?Quote:

Only way to trophy climb or farm is to break shield... so if the shield is active then no revenge
But other than that... unless the other person is actively being attacked or is attacking, i think revenge should be anytime anywhere...
No need to log you off... you get to watch the revenge live while it happens, if you choose to watch your loot and cups taken back

Why would SC reduce attacking?
Revenging is near impossible when the other person is always on... whether theyre actually playing or being kept on by a mod
Its easy to attack every person with loot when youre protected by a mod who keeps you logged on to protect your loot and not being able to be revenged... i think youll think twice about raiding somebody for their loot when they have the option to revenge you anytime
Same goes for trophy hunters... people stay on top because they do not get revenged on because either they are actually playing or their mod keeps them from being logged off
doing this would effectively stop people from attacking active bases, would never be able to save loot for upgrades due to constantly losing resources to revenge attacks. would completely kill the game, imo.
revenge is not very functional in high trophy ranges, but allowing revenge at all times isn't the fix
Quite frankly Revenge just needs to be removed from the game. Allowing people to Revenge when you are online or when you have a shield would very literally kill the game completely.
Sorry, I have to agree with the other posters here. This would destroy the game. Have you ever pushed? Champions league would be impossible if this were implemented.
I don't think you've really went through the implications of what you're suggesting. It's like you've found a spider in your house and decide to burn your house down. Yeah... you definitely solved the spider problem, but you've made a much bigger mess than you started with.Quote:

I would just like the shield timer put on, so I can see when someone's shield should come off, so I can be there waiting to get my loot back...

I am in champions league and it is almost impossible to get a revenge attack! In over a year at champions league level i have managed to achieve the grand total of 0 revenges and have been revenged myself just once.
Once you push really high (4600+) one of the most frustrating things is the lack of bases to attack, seeing 10 bases in a 6 hour session all worth just 1 or 2 trophies is not unusual. What makes this worse is the knowledge that as soon as you log off you will be attacked immediately and you are usually worth around 40ish trophies on average.
Having the ability to revenge a player through a shield would definitely improve the chance of actually getting a base to raid; however i don't think the current trophy calculation system for revenge would work in champions lge as the majority of players i attack are worth 1-5 trophies meaning that if they had the opportunity to revenge me through a shield i would be a 50+ offer to them! Instead i think revenge should be changed so that you can attack through a shield but are only able to revenge the other player for a third of the trophies that they originally took off you. So if you were attacked and lost 30 trophies you could revenge that player back and take 10 trophies off them.
It used to be much easier to get revenges in champs. It was changed to be almost impossible precisely because people were abusing it. Sad fact, but it's a situation where champs ruined it for themselves.Quote:

It doesn't matter if they are ♥♥♥♥♥ing or just randomly tapping their phones every 5 min. You should not be able to stay logged in for hours at a time.

Who care for revenge? Rarely check it anyway. Better go do some search and big base + league bonus with barch. While for a revenge you will need full spells a heavy army to get all the loot. Well I take option one lol
I care about revenge... :( Barcher/BAM raids are boring, are basicly grinding chores, and likely wrecking other people's moods in a systematic manner (if not an abandoned base). My cheapo raiding army can crush most TH7s, and those are hit because of practically. :(Quote:

I'm so proud for them. :D They are like the only one (maybe one other) that actually was was able to pull this off on me.

I so miss TH7 :( That's when I had real fun with revenge attacks. Dragons where prefect for hitting back those TH8s that wanted to wipe me out with Barcher-King raids.
