Hey guys, had a couple of bases like this recently in wars, being a massive user of hogs I have got nowhere near 3 stars against this kind of base, any advise of what type of army and strategy I should be using?

Use GoWiPe or Lavaloonian. You will at least get 2 stars with those.
Use neither of those armies. See my Surgical Hog thread. Get 3 stars instead.
Golavaloon would actually be a pretty good attack strategy.
Once you take out the cc troops(lure with hogs) drop a max cc golem on the top left followed by wbs, aq and wizards. Drop your king only when you're sure he wont circle around the base. You should be able to get two of the air defenses and the defensive queen.
Just bring 3 lava hounds in any case. Three stars if done as said.
either do a surgical hog like dart said or even do a normal goho, the only decent dgb spot is in the bottom segment and that can be taken out when u lure the cc or with ur ks. the other dbg spots will trigger 1 at a time if you path them right
I would try GoLavaLoon as well. I'd try to get 1 AD, the AQ, and the CC troops by dropping a Golem on the bottom left with a few (5?) wizards, a jump spell, and your king and queen. If you have 220 army camp space and 30 CC space, you've used 50 of your 250 thus far. 4 Lava Hounds (level 2+) and 16 level 6 balloons should be enough to clean up the rest.
