I think it would be great if both clans had the option of saying they were ready for the war to begin. Once all prep has been completed both clans can elect to start the war at that time, rather than have to wait for the full 24 hours.
And if that was a good enough idea, allow clans to declare a war over. If it is completely out of reach let clans move onto the next war as long as both clans agree to end the war at that time.
I am not sure if this is ruled out or not, but its certainly brought up a lot. The reason why it wont change is it would be abused. You could declare war, end prep immediately, work it out with the other clan where you allow them to win, but they leave their top 2 THs out to be looted, end the war, cash in on your loot, and repeat. To keep it fair, it should stay the way it is.Quote:

As much as it would be handy. It could also be really; really annoying.
Ever done fantasy sport draft competitions before? I've done one before where a player gets 24 hours to make a selection, but in some cases selections happen in 1 minute to 30 minutes.
Players start to get used to that, and suddenly get really angry with players taking the full 24 hours - despite been perfectly entitled to do so.
Just be patient, we don't want a situation where more hurry up pressures are added to the game.
It could also open the door to some serious Clan XP exploitation.
