I did some looking and it seems this spam is partly due to the Anti-Superstition and Black Magic Act India put into place in Dec 2013. They can no longer advertise in India so now they are spamming every possible public forum they can get access to internationally. Now if only we can figure out a way to report this spam back to India so they can go after the spammers under this act.
farily sure the spam does at least these three things.
To claim possession of supernatural powers and to advertise this claim
To perform so called black magic and spread fear in society
To sell or deal in so-called magic stones, talisman, bracelets, charms.
If anyone has any ideas of how to go about reporting I'll gladly take up this banner

For the reason stated in this post by LadyJEM5, I'll let it stay in General.
Please understand it has little impact on how fast spam thread will be removed:
1/ Our Moderators tools allow us to delete all post from the same member with a few click -> we only need to spot one spam thread from them to take action -> you only need to report one post from each spammer.
2/ when they spam pages of threads, it's quite impossible to miss them, unless we are offline :(. In this case we won't even see this thread being brought to the top. What we might miss is individual spam threads with links to malicious website. Please make sure you report them :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Meonhoc, I think we all know how hard you all work and we don't REALLY expect this thread to make you come running. It's sort of a little oh yoooohoooo that we know you can't hear and also sort of our way of thumbing our nose at the spammers. It's our way of telling them to enjoy their short little time in our neck of the woods because we have you guys on OUR side. If you notice the majority of folks who post here have been here long enough to know how to report these jerks and have probably already done so before we jump on board here. We need something to amuse ourself with. That's all. Oh and we love you too!

Why the hay day forums? It is never this bad on any of the other games.
I wonder if they can extend the time we have to wait in between starting new threads without affecting the time we have to wait in between making regular posts.
Regular forumers don't need to start new threads every minute. If the admins extended the time to 10 minutes or even 5 minutes, that would slow down the flood of spam into these forums.
Probably because the Hay Day forum doesn't usually need as much moderation as the other games so the mods see that spam quicker.Quote:

(FYI, the "Neighborhood Discussion" subforum got hit too)
I just removed hndreds of spam bot on Boom forum from about 10 spammer. They spam everywhere, not just Hay Day.
Trust me, it's not fun for us neither to have to check for spam every minute :unsure:.
Every restriction set so Spam post will applied to regular forumer as well. The worst part is they will always found a work around while our members are getting stuck not being able to post (we tried, some regular member got their post auto moderated, and Mods need to approve post manually...). The system is not perfect, Supercell is aware and is looking into improving it. Till then, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience.
I couldn't login to my account the other day when there was spam attack in hay day forum. I got notification e-mail saying that there were repeated failed login attempts so my account was locked, and the ip address was from another country. Would spambot h-a-c-k other people's accounts?

Thanks mods for dealing with that first batch of spam. Looks like we have another. These ones want NH advice. Lol. I've never seen them ask about HD before. Maybe they want a game to play on their spamming breaks.
At least we can get any spammer down within a hour now. If you see ANY Indian spammers, report and get rid of them. NO MORE LOVE SPECIALISTS!
Bots aren't the only source of spam
Yeah but the past 3 spam targets are most likely bots due to the rate of posting and how much they are typing.

Make a sticky please. I had no idea. I have only reported twice and honestly don't know if i chose the first spam or not. So I guess I contributed to the problem without even being aware I was doing that. Guides are only helpful if we are aware of them. Since this guide was posted in the CoC forum those that only visit HayDay forum probably would have never seen it.
