Spam bites, and spammers will let us alone WHEN PIGS FLY!!
(No offense to Minnesotans, but this is a recipe that could have only originated in Minnesota -- just sayin')
LOL
When Pigs Fly – SPAMŽ Bites http://www.spam.com/recipes/When-Pigs-Fly-SPAM-Bites
Make sure your seatbacks and tray tables are in their full upright positions, because the cheesy flavors in these SPAMŽ Bites are ready to take off. Finely chopped pecans will be served at cruising altitude. Prepare for bites landing in your mouth with ranch and blue cheese dip.
Ingredients
- 1 12-ounce can SPAMŽ Hot and Spicy, grated
- 1 package boil-in-bag Jasmine rice
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoons dried chives
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
- Cooking spray
- 1 1/2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- Ranch and Blue Cheese salad dressing, for dipping
Directions
1Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare rice as package directs. Drain rice and set aside. 2Place grated SPAMŽ Hot and Spicy and chives in a large nonstick skillet and cook until SPAMŽ Hot and Spicy is lightly browned; set aside to cool slightly. 3In mixing bowl, combine rice and SPAMŽ Hot and Spicy. Add shredded cheeses and 1 egg. Mix together until mixture is well combined. Make SPAMŽ mixture into small bite-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 4In another bowl, beat egg whites until frothy. 5In another bowl, combine bread crumbs, pecans, parsley and Cajun seasoning until well blended. 6Dip each SPAMŽ ball into the egg whites and then coat in the bread crumb mixture. Return to parchment lined baking pan. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. 7To serve, place a toothpick in the center of each meatball and serve with ranch and blue cheese salad dressing for dipping. Makes 24.

Interesting recipe. I usually just slice the Spam and spread a brown sugar/yellow mustard glaze on them and heat in the oven. Simple and tasty😊
Apparently there is a big need for specialists in several countries right now!!;)

Why the hay day forums? It is never this bad on any of the other games.
I wonder if they can extend the time we have to wait in between starting new threads without affecting the time we have to wait in between making regular posts.
Regular forumers don't need to start new threads every minute. If the admins extended the time to 10 minutes or even 5 minutes, that would slow down the flood of spam into these forums.
Time to serve up those Spam-Bites, Perky. :p
