let me rehash an old topic, th9 DE farming trophy level

I'm currently a newish th9 and am settling into my hero grind. I also need it for upgrading my dark troops to max levels for th9. I'm currently farming in gold 2/1 between 1700-1900 trophies. I do between 10-20k per day depending on how much time I have to raid. I see lots of posts of people saying they are doing so much more, I've seen up to 60k per day. I am a bammer mainly due to being inpatient. I'm debating on going up to crystal 1/master 3 to see if I can do more de per day up there, but is it worth it? Is it worth doing say 20-30k a day (if possible) but getting raided for a few thousand every time I have a break? I haven't been up that high since th7 and wonder what peoples opinions are on farming up there at th9. Thanks

Currently doing de farming for my heroes, and I wish I had spent more time up in M3. Before I was using barch + 8 wb, hitting th8 for 1k in 1900s with C3 shield, but I have been in Masters 3 for the last 5 days and I've managed to make 100k in 4 days, using 20 balloons and 60 minions, plus rage if i have them ready. It is honestly much better up in masters for de, I'm even seeing collector bases around 2650. If you leave your townhall outside and don't trap it, you'll get sniped pretty much every time.

Good luck with the hero grind, it's a tough one, but it's pretty satisfying when you get there. Just managed to put my queen down for level 20, which was my goal.

That is good information to know. My aq is going to 9 currently and my bk is 10 so I have a long way to go for sure. Congrats on the lvl 20, I'll get there one day :-)

Im in the same boat sitting in Gold 1. Gonna have to push up to high crystal, low masters.

yea. I was wondering if I could get away staying down in gold, but that isn't going to happen I think. on to masters.

Want to know how painful it is to farm DE in silver 1? Ask me. That's where I got both heroes.

Grab a de protection base from the forums, use your gold and elixir on walls and chuck your townhall inside, you'll be able to reach 2400 pretty easily on defence thanks to people dropping cups.

Gold league is fine for me upgrading 1 hero at a time with no expensive DE troops left to upgrade in the lab at the same time. But I agree with the previous posters that Crystal or Masters is a better bet. I may push up there to farm enough for both heroes down at the same time when IRL obligations become less time consuming.

And you get 1000 gems when you reach masters:cool:

I spent a few days down there when I first became th9, it seemed terrible for loot. How did you manage that?

That was my plan, use my war base and hope it helps me out.
