if you trap it, you're dead 3-starred 100-percented.
Yeah, go ahead and test out that trapping thing up in high Masters and let me know how it goes. :p
In Champ, as a TH8, it will be the same lol.
TH inside or outside, it will be 100 %

Not really sure it will make much difference to a TH8. If a TH10 has it exposed then most often they will get the snipe because it's not worth going for the 2 star (which might not happen anyway) and the attacker can get better value going for a snipe and then another attack. With a TH8 you are a dead cert 3 star (probably not even using their full army) so you might get occasionally lucky but usually I don't think it will make a difference either way.
Depends on how much loot you are holding. If it's low then most likely you will get the snipe. If you have loads of elixer or de available then it does not matter where your town hall is.
TH out untrapped. Use your traps for the inside of your base incase someone tries to 2/3* you.
I would leave it out if you are TH8. Just make sure you get plenty of attacks in because you'll probably get smashed anyway when you get beyond Crystal
Masters is full of high th9/th10 players who could easily 2/3 star your base even with the best layout possible.
If you leave your th out with traps around it attackers will just get annoyed and destroy your base as a result.
If you leave it out untrapped there's a fair chance someone will snipe for an easy loot bonus and save thier army for a base that offers more loot.
As a th7 in masters most attackers would th snipe and leave. I was only there for a week but I only got 3 starred once in about 12 attacks on my base.
