Clan Medals: New currency and Clan Tournaments: New feature
After having the update with clan XP, more people have been interested in Clan Wars but the wars have always been the same since they were released. This thread will focus on a new war feature and a new currency to go along with it. These features will help create more teamwork needed within a clan as well.
Clan Medals
Clan Medals will be the new currency that will be earned from each clan member by doing the following things:
- Donating troops (1 Clan Medal per troop)
- Winning attacks (2 Clan Medals)
- Winning Clan Wars (25 Clan Medals)
- Winning Clan Tournaments (50 Clan Medals)
What can Clan Medals be spent on?
Only the leader will be able to spend Clan Medals. Anything the leader buys is applied to all clan members bases.
1. Clan Flag
After seeing plenty of people suggesting that national flags should be removed, I decided that this should happen and the only flag available should be your Clan Flag and the Pirate Flag since people have spent gems on it. The Clan Flag will be a customizable flag with your clans emblem on the banner. Clan Medals can be used to purchase new flag poles and new designs for the flag's banner. Examples of some clan poles are one with a skull on the tip, a stripped pole that looks like a candy cane, a golden pole, a pole with fire coming out the tip like the torch, etc. If you are not in a clan then your flag will remain white with a wooden pole.
2. Clan Statue
The Clan Statue will be another way to represent your clan. This will be a customizable statue which can be changed with parts. There will be a way to change the top of your statue, the middle section, the arms, the legs, and base which is what your statue stands on. I believe that the bodies of the Clan Statue should not resemble any of the troops.
3. Clan War Base Settings
The Clan War Base Setting will be the surroundings of each members base in the clan. For example, if your clan has not purchased a Clan War Base Setting then every members base will have the usual setting that it has now. Different settings available for purchase can be on top of a mountain, Autumn trees, a rain forest, etc.
4. Searching for Clan Tournaments and Clan Wars
Normal attacks require gold to search for a base to raid so searching for a Clan Tournament and Clan War will require Clan Medals.
Clan Tournaments
Clan Tournaments will be a new way to earn Clan XP and Clan Medals at the same at a faster rate. To start a Clan Tournament you have to spend a certain amount of Clan Medals and when 8 clans with similar level members are found, the preparation day begins. Players can be opted out or in the same as in Clan Wars. There will only be one preparation day and anything donated to your Clan Castle before the preparation day ends will remain in there throughout every attack for the entire tournament.
The Clan Tournament map will be a bracket showing what clans are battling each other with a button saying "Details" in between each pair of clans names. When you click the details button you can watch live attacks, replays, and scout any base you want during the tournament. This can help your clan plan attacks ahead of time. Since there are 8 clans, there will be 3 rounds, each lasting 24 hours. In the first round, 100% of Clan XP of a normal Clan War will be available. In the second round, 150% will be available and in the finals you will earn double Clan XP.
