New ideas for Clash of clan

Thank you for the awesome update with many cool features and thank you for listening to player's opinion. Not many game developer does this nowadays

here I just have some ideas that I believe can make the game better. This is my thought and I just wanna share it to the forum. My apology if any ideas sound silly.

1. Trading or donating resources between clan members. This would be a great feature to help clan mates who's in need. Limit should be set so players cannot over-use this feature to stash someone else resources.

2. Black market or whatever you can call it. Where players can buy ready-to-use spells or units for a higher price than the original price. Spells feature can be used to its full potential. As making spells is taking too long.

3. Resources converter. The feature to help players who need the other type of resources more than the other. Lets say gold more than elixir. Resources converter will help players to convert their excess gold or elixir that they don't need to the other type which they need.

4. Finally, I believe airs unit are too strong in the beginning when many players only have low Air defenses. So additional air defenses would greatly help or new type of air defenses will be nice. Like a Flak cannon or SAM lol!

1) I like this idea to a certain extent - I've often been say 1-10k short of buying something, and could have used some small assistance. As long as it's reasonable, it does seem like a good function of a clan. Make a request from the Town Hall for resources. Could help a lot here and there. It needs limits, maybe 5k of the one you choose per TH level or something?

2) Seems like a neat idea - like the Runescape Grand Exchange

3) At different points in the game, I've needed one or the other more - an exchange with small penalty would have helped.

4) I think Air Units are still too strong. With a maxed out base, if the attacker places them right, 35 balloons can destroy a lot of cities. Everyone had been complaining about balloons being overpowered, and what happens next??? They release the Rage spell, making 3 well placed rage with full loons nearly impossible to defend. I've won a few, but it's usually due to unfortunate placing on their part when they send in the archers to clean up an undefended city.

4a) What I was thinking last night is 1 sniper tower with longer range, maybe 12-14 (about the size of the clan castle range, I don't have the game open now) but a footprint of 2x2 like the builders hut. I think that can help a bit.

I don't like any of these ideas. They're not needed. I've never had any problem that any of these ideas would solve. Every game has limitations, which causes you to use some strategy. The strategy is where the fun is.

You can already convert elixir into gold. You do it in battle.

1. Could work I suppose as long as the limits were set right.

2. Already exists. Buy gems. They aren't going to release any other way of speeding up build times. The spells are largely end game items used to weaken well defended opponents.

3. Would be nice. To expand on it, I'd say provisions would have to be put in place to keep it from being a form of resource hoarding. Have it be upgradable where each upgrade matches stepwise with storage units. So a level a 10 converter would convert 1m. It does it in whole blocks. So a level 10 converter will always require and convert 1m. Have it always take 48 hrs regardless of what level it is. The purpose of upgrading the converter would be so you can convert more at once not convert faster. Have it act like a resource building while the stuff is in there. Goblins will target it, do double damage, and you can lose what's in there. Make it irreversible (i.e. can't cancel once you start). Add a 50% penalty --- 1m in = 500k out.

4. Air attacks are bit over powered in general right now. Not sure if the solution is more AA or having the units do less damage.

I am glad most of everyone agreed with me at some points! Thank you! And again, these are just ideas! Happen or not wont bother me! I love a well balanced game and these ideas are for admin to consider! If they do end up in the next update then I am more than happy that we could do something to contribute. Thanks everyone again for pointing out the good and bad points of these ideas. Now i guess just have to wait for admin to say something.

One more thing, of course gem is the solution to all! But let's be honest, the last thing we want to spend is gem unless we all have a lot of money to spare then I would not say anything else. But that's not the case. Not many players have the money to spend on gems. And I am giving these ideas from those players point of view. I hope this will not upset anyone. Thanks

Good ideas Patrick! Would like to see more players ideas for changes and/or improvements in the forum from players. We have some clever people playing the game.

1. Sounds great.
2. Spell does takes too long to produce. On average, the tiny archers army, 200 of them will take 30mins . Alot of people are grinder, with attack rate of once every 30 mins. So .. 30 - 60 mins should be reasonable.
3. Sounds great also.
4. not quite. Air units are in general takes forever to make. Its worth while. But yeah , they are a little overpowered.
