For some reason all these anti hopper threads always come crashing down and never does anything useful.
Having information on a persons profile will not stop hoppers, but it will allow good clans to be more informed when deciding who they should let in.
How do you be less gullible? You have no knowledge of the history of a person. I could easily join your clan, participate, and then war day starts, decide to leave. You would have no way of knowing if you were being "gullible" when excepting me. I am a lvl107 with 673 war stars.
As far as negative stats: having a long average time in a clan is positive, having a low rate of being kicked is positive, having been in a few clans for a long time is positive.
You can just as easily have a new person sit out of a war and see if they stay.
have them sit out of war until they have shown their stability. If you are just putting them in then you are accepting their word for it. That's gullible.
Don't give them much until they have shown they are into your clan with a little service themselves. For openers a donate before requesting rule is a great way to get guys off on the right foot. After that don't give anything big until they have delivered a reasonable amount themselves.
Don't accept 'I need this now. Please, I will donate later'. That's being gullible.
Don't ever give anyone anything just as a means to make them stay. That's being gullible. Anyone that needs to be given something to stay is in the end not going to stay unless you are prepared to keep giving them things (promotions and troops) at a steady state forever.
Learn not to feel any loss if a guy doesn't like you being careful and leaves. be happy even because you just avoided being taken by a con man.
Learn not to care if a guy leaves because he did not want to sit out a war first, He is demonstrating a lack of patience so that was a guy with high probability of leaving during a war. Instead be happy you just avoided that problem.
Things you can do with stats already existing....
Look for war timer first. if they have one with more than a few hours on it just lose them. There are too many fish in the sea to take in such a bad sign.
Look at their war hero achievement and compare it to their exp level. If its really low then this is not someone that has completed a lot of wars over his existence. They are either a war hopper at worst or at best a guy that has not a lot of combat experience. (not at winning the attacks anyhow). if he is talking all GI Joe then you know he is full of it. Not even worth your time to drill into that, just lose him.
That title spelling error is great. But good idea.
