More and more nowadays I see Town Hall 8's that decided to put their nose to the grindstone and go hardcore raiding for the amount of Gold required to finish all 225 of their walls. Just because the game seems unbalanced to you does not mean that it seems unbalanced for others. Besides, 500,000 isn't that bad. The 200,000 payment for level 7 walls is reasonable but you have to go through that grueling period in order to get to an actually easier period in level 9 walls. Level 8 walls are the point at which a player's base starts to look frightening, so it makes sense that they're so expensive.

The only way that I could see they could bring back elixir wall upgrade for walls 6->7 and 7->8 is to only allow the upgrades with elixir if you are capped on storage. IE you can upgrade a level 6 wall to level 7 with elixir at TH7 if you have 1,820,000 or more elixir in your storages, because after you upgrade the wall you can still be raided for the capped amount at TH7.
Prices are fine
If level 8 walls are too expensive for you, just don't upgrade them.
Walls are a luxury, so don't expect them to be handed to you on a silver platter.

I'm at TH8 and I'm short lix not gold, weapons all done but 50 days of research left to go....just depends how you've been playing, it's not that th8 automatically leads to too much elixir...
walls are good its more balance now than before when it was without the elixir update
