Just an idea, it would be awesome if team members can spar for player xp and no recources taken from the members. I think it'll be a great option for the clan, the leaders and experienced players to help the lower members improve their attack skills and rightfully earn ranks in the clan. Replays or live option can be posted or viewed on the clan forums allowing the members to observe and critique each spar, I believe this will motivate more Clan members to stay active and raise clan moral.
I'm torn on this topic.
On the one hand, there have been countless times when I've tried explaining why someone's base wasn't nearly as good as they think it is. Trying to explain all the flaws in words can be difficult and I often have new players tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I'd love the opportunity to say, 'see how easily my giants destroy your mortar when you put it in the corner and leave it unprotected'
Also, I think better base designs could be more easily achieved if members had a chance to really have a go at a clan members base repeatedly. It's hard to test out a new war base concept when you could be potentially be putting the result of the war at risk for you and 49 other clan members.
With that said, I think if people could test out those ideas without running the risk of losing loot it could bring the CoC economy to a grinding halt.
